I will be in Heaven with the new Galaxy Nexus 4G no matter if the battery lasts 3 hours...I get 1 hour on my i-phone 3gs on At&t, I have it always on an external Morphie Battery case which last 6 hours total before recharging....:D

Another OG Droid lurker checking in, started visting this thread back in late August not long after it was created. Signed up on this forum around the OG release day but have never posted.

Thanks to all posters for all the great info (and posting all news so quickly). Seems like we'll be getting the phone soon. In September this thread became my main source of news for the phone (was checking google news/various feeds in Pulse). I don't have much to say so I don't post. I also don't want to ruin the thread -- I have a horribly dark sense of humor and I know I'd get in trouble!

For the NJ folks, I've lived in several towns in that state, including Hawthorne and Wayne in the north. Went to William Paterson as well in the 90s.

I have a mildly entertaining OG Droid story, will post sometime soon.

The CSR on the phone told me there won't be any preorders as he was looking in his system. This is the same guy that admitted that the extended battery is in their system along with the Nexus. So might be legit? Who knows...

Also I was told that the store cannot do 3G->4G early upgrades so I dunno if that is true but he told me customer service (1800) can do a 3G->4G early upgrade so it looks like I'm going to have to order mine on the 9th overnight-ed and get it Saturday.

That sounds....rather agressive. I guess so long as you did not threaten to come down there (and whatever that implies) to get the answer...:rolleyes:

Lol. He started out calling it the Prime every time I came in. After a while I guess he realized that I knew something and wasn't just crazy chick coming into the store.

You are worthy. I only use it because it's on the phone - it's a pain in the arse cause notifications decide when they want to work. :(
