So what do you suggest we do? Nothing? Don't say a thing and sit back and wait and let Verizon assume they're not annoying or frustrating their customers? If they don't care then eventually what goes around comes around and people will leave.... WHAT DO WE DO NOW SIR?
The problem is that your only frustrated and annoyed because you read tech sites/blogs and believe these "confirmed" sources. Like the WSJ, who are correct roughly 1 out of 10 times they leak a tech story.
I want the phone as much as anyone, but harassing people who don't have information or can't share that information because they would lose their jobs is sort of selfish.
The day/week isn't over yet. Maybe it will happen, no one really knows.
Heck one of my best friends confirmed to me that he placed an order for them yesterday. They showed in his system as both "in stock" and "available". (He is a reseller) but that really doesn't mean anything. However 15 minutes prior to that he had sent me a message like. "It isn't happening this week." Followed with .. "Ok, well maybe it is, I just ordered some and they show as available"
My guess is, if they ship phones to resellers early you can call around and you will most likely find one who will sell you the phone regardless of official street date.
