I'm uncomfortable with all the P3 trashing. I've been reading all the comments and something inside of me just twinged.
Does P3 deserve to be spoken badly because of his behavior? I think so.
I'll tell you a story. I had a personal run in with him when I misquoted him on a Phandroid tip and it got printed. He got upset. I reported it right away and the story was fixied. I felt awful. I felt so bad that I lost sleep for a night or two. I emailed him and and PM'd him on his site apologizing and asking his forgiveness. He didn't/wouldn't respond. Rob told me he reached out to him. He didn't respond. I have reason to resent him, but I let that go.
You see, his character and behavior has brought him to where he is now. How we respond indicates what is in our nature and character. I prefer to take the high road in this, bless him and even pray for him. I hope that you all would consider my request that you treat him with a respect that perhaps is more and indication of the quality of your character than of what he actually deserves. Think about it. It's good for the soul to take the high road.
Taking the high road is more characteristic of the tenor of this thread. We are not mean-spirited and vengeful here. Here we are loving and familial. We've proved that over and over. Let's do it again. Okay?

I re-downloaded Twitter when Google announced it would be giving away the Nexus for answers to its trivia posts. Even then, knowing of p3 only through this Epic Thread, I chose not to follow his travails. I did this because of a lack of appeal.
My participation here has been strictly based on acquiring information with regard to the Nexus, sharing stories, bonding with folks of similar Android persuasion and clean mischief. p3 represents none of the above; I cannot remember if I have taken to bashing him in this thread but am 99.999% sure I have not. If I have, then, I apologize.
In the end we are simply speaking of a phone. Am I inspired by what it brings to the table? Do I long every day to have it in my hands? Am I frustrated about not having it on my hands right now as I post? Yes, yes and yes! But let's keep things in perspective, as you suggest, and keep our heads!
I work in retail customer service. I deal with folks looking for caffeine, sugar, or both. I have taken my share fair of unfair ridicule for doing the best I can do. I'm not saying that I defend p3, here. What I am saying is that there is indeed a way to take his bombardment of unwarranted behavior with grace. I do it with customers every single day; sometimes I deal with it at 5am. I am a better person for traveling that higher road.

I asked a few times and got no response. does anyone know the website i keep hearing about Telesales? i checked it out and cant find anything on cell phone accessories. someone said they purchased the extended battery from there. im lost. any ideas??

I find the coincidence of the 4G LTE outage prior to release of certain phones quite interesting. The last big outage apparently occurred just prior to the release of the Droid Charge. And this recent one just prior to the release of the GN?

I believe he meant he called Verizon's telesales department (as in over the phone) and ordered accessories through them. There's no website called Telesales that sells phone accessories (that I'm aware of).
Oh, I don't know. I don't believe anyone said a time. I assumed in the morning before stores open or some time around then.

That may be good news depending on when that was taken (pre-/post-delay). Costco doesn't usually get handsets the same day as VZW stores.
From what I heard it will be basically an hour or so before most stores open. Keep in mind I havent slept in 24+ hours, so i might not be remembering correctly
