This is what my countdown clock shows me every time I look at my phone! This means I should have my GNex in my grubby paws! I was still hoping for this am :(

Now what? Do I leave all those 0's that are mocking me??

Someone give me a new date to put in... so far, I've seen 9th, 10th, 11th, 12th, 13th and 15th. So it'll probably come out on the 14th! Which one do I pick to build all my hopes up on (again)?

yeah i saw that... and the "zeta" but those seem too far away like late Q2 of next year...
so i'm stuck with this stupid rollercoaster til the end huh...
 
My trusty DInc knows I'm lusting for another. GMail is hanging in Send fairly regularly in the last few days. Easy enough to clear, but its a sign that the DInc is rightly feeling unloved.

I talked to my boss yesterday about coming in at noon on Friday... right before all of the rumors starting surfacing about it not being available. I could just come in for normal time tomorrow but I figure I'll be up late watching the Steelers tonight so I may as well enjoy the extra sleep.

I was just gonna throw this same question out there. What's the next big one for Verizon? I know it looks like it will be AT&T but the Galaxy Note is giving me the "come hither" kind of looks.

No reason the live with a slow OG. Overclock that thing! Grab the latest sholes version of bugless beast and one of Chevy's froyo kernels (I'm using the low voltage 1.2 ghz). It seriously thrusts the old Droid into a completely different class.

It would have been interesting if people started a count up clock when they first heard about the SGN and decided to wait for it. Then we could compare how long we have been waiting vs failed count down timers.
 
I'm struggling to believe that Verizon's meeting this morning barely touched on Nexus...it seems to warrant to much attention for just a "fyi the Nexus is delayed." kind of lame

I'm going to get the car dock now mostly because I typically just set my phone in my cup holder and still have it charging.. by with the GN having it's port on the bottom.. that's going to be weird.

Exactly the same with me. Throw my Inc in the cup holder, but I use it to stream Pandora, Slacker, and Google Music so we'll need the dock for that. Make it look nice!
 
So much for my earlier post regarding my Verizon store telling me I should still plan on getting the GNEX on Sat morning. Salesperson just sent me a text saying no go. Hearing best case scenario is end of next week. At this point I don't believe anything anyone representing Verizon says. I have never been a Verizon customer and I was planning to switch for this phone. Not sure after all this non/misinformation if that's a good idea. I don't know how you long time Verizon customers do it.

WRONG. Hanette confirmed its all just the big wigs stalling. That was a couple of weeks ago, don't blame you for not seeing it but to believe anything is wrong with this phone other than bureaucracy is simply not true. Anything strong enough to hold back a release this late would have also held up the GSM version in every other country. Hell the GSM version had that volume button bug and Google in their infinite wisdom didn't catch it (We Americans don't use that European frequency, but they should have at least tested all scenarios in the Google/Samsung Labs) and still released it. That would have been a showstopper if caught during Samsung/Google's initial testing.

Thats my belief and based on what Han's sister said I'm sticking to that.
