So on Tuesday, I ordered my GNex case from Amazon.com in anticipation of Friday's certain release. Today I get this email from Amazon.com:


Hello,

We're writing to let you know there was a transit delay and the delivery of your package from Order# 105-9682703-4268253 may be delayed by 1 - 2 days.
UPS will deliver the package as soon as possible. We're very sorry about this unavoidable delay and we appreciate your patience.

The items listed below are included in this package with tracking number ***

I may have doomed us all last night when I ordered a Nexus case. I assumed it was safe as launch was a day away, well Verizon showed me.

Whatever, I'm going to bed. I'll check back in and if there is a soft launch in the next 7 days I'll waddle into the store and get one. If there is no Nexus by next Friday I will be calling Verizon and utilize the fart app on my DX to tell them what I think of their launch skills.

How long is the stratosphere on sale for $99? Because remember that ad that "accidently" was shown on phandroid and other sites that had that train of new phones and the nexus was one of them next to the stratosphere that was advertising as $99

Previously, there was a time in this thread where people started posting thier chat logs with Verizon. It seemed that became a one-ups-man thing, and people started to out do each other, each time getting more and more harrassing to the CSRs.

It went south, real quick, and the mods handed out some infractions, and there was a cease and desist for ALL verizon chat logs. That was later modified that you could post up a chat, as long as you were polite to the CSRs and didn't hound them for information they don't have.

I'm starting to see this heading the wrong direction again.

Put quite simply, be polite. But the harsh reality is they don't know anything. You have every right to do what you want in your personal life, but that doesn't mean you should post it here.

I'm not sure how I missed this earlier but let me tell you - if this happened a lot of people would do a double take at the woman running out the house in a tank top, shorts and whatever shoes happened to be closest to my feet when I found out. (and a coat if one was available on my way out)

The best thing you can do if you want some dialogue with Verizon (however limited), send the executives a politely worded email. Don't bother the grunts. :)

Well thats your theory on the matter and im not gonna argue back and forth about it. Im just gonna do what i feel is right and thats let my voice be heard and hope the many disgruntled voices find their way to an important ear. So lets just agree to disagree ;)
 
I played with a Razr in the store today. Camera wouldn't work (just a black screen). Capacitive buttons hardly worked. and Voice search kept popping up randomly. So much for 'Kevlar strong' durability :P
