Can someone show me any evidence to suggest the 12/15 target date? I saw an email earlier but it looked a bit shady...

Not doubting (yes I am), but I was curious if I missed the memo :)
 
I've decided to kill time by trying to get my hands on the Best Buy Ad for 12/11/11. I want to see if they advertised the Nexus in that ad.

Which brings me to my theory with all of this crap. No one advertised the Nexus (except Best Buy back on 12/1)...it makes me feel like it wasn't ever supposed to be released yet. Still something very strange about all of this.

We got to the point that the phone was activated. When he tried to run it through the system it wouldn't let him go any further. He called a few people and realized he wasn't allowed to sell it.

He then proceeded to call Verizon to reverse the activation. I was sooo close.

It definitely doesn't feel cheap and has a real solid feel. Thinner then I though it would be.

I agree, its thin and light for the size, but feels solid. I fell in love with it all over again today when I got to demo it.

I agree, but it has to be killing them not to share... That is why I suggested the second account. That would solve the issue right?

Yeah the upside to the lack of power steering is you feel everything in the road. It can deffinitly make low speed or stopped turns a b*#ch though! :p

Not a bad idea, but my guess is they are reading this thread now and then between playing with their new toy (and yes, slightly jealous over here). Also guessing they are passing stuff to OTD as they did originally.. and quite possible she is out and about somewhere rather than on the forums.

So Anonymous.. share the info with Steven and Early too please. ;):D

this is the only "evidence" other than people posting "i went to a VZ store and..." stories.

I went to buy the phone thinking there's no way I'm walking out of this store with it. The activation went through just fine but they couldn't ring up the sku.

So they hand wrote a purchase agreement and copied my credit card (they were assuming they could run it later today when the sku was active) they never got word from their boss stating anything different from the 9th as being the launch date.

When I got home and pulled the phone out of the box I seen they called & texted, they were frantically trying to reach me of course I knew what it was it was all about.
I consider these people friends and wouldn't want to see them fired. I am unemployed right now and I realize how tough it is out there.

but here is the good news...When I called Verizon to make certain that my upgrade eligabity was reset, I explained to the rep what happened. The Verizon rep was very forthcoming and told me that Verizon has not deleted the Nexus from their info guide but only hidden it, she says the release date is there and it's the 15th. I asked how she knew this and she said she really wants the Nexus so she went digging and found it, of course we all know that could change, but I don't doubt the rep for 1 second (and I usually doubt everything) that the 15th is the target date.

It is so good isn't it! Could not find good Mexican in NJ (I've been to Howell a couple times for extended stays brother sand sister in-laws), but oh my the Italian was killer :)

I know the Razr is thinner, but this phone felt almost thinner due to the fact it wasn't so wide and long as the razr.
 
The 15th is confirmed just as the 9th was...by Verizon & retailers looking at their intranet and passing the info on. The only reason the 15th isn't set in stone is because Verizon hasn't sent out PR's verifying this yet. I hope they do Monday or Tuesday.

I will say if the Nexus doesn't come out on Thursday I will eat MY iPhone 4s.

I'm thinking of doing a huge run of nearby Verizon stores tonight to see if I can get at least one to sell me something.

Let's hope I can at least play with one :3

Anyways, what else did I miss besides the user who actually did end up successfully returning home with a Nexus, SamMax's almost-sale, and OTD's close call @ BB? :S

Meh... leave 'em alone. Let him/her play with the new toy and enjoy the weekend. One way or another we'll find something to drool over.
 
There is this delicious, hard to find, really rare mexican place here in Jersey- you should really try it out if your ever out here again.
They call it Taco Bell

Don't know. Probably just the place in town. I'm playing chauffeur tonight for mom and my aunt (she is visiting) and they'll be at the house eating when I get home. I wish it was Pizza Town or Kinchley's though
