I know that I posted this question last night before the lock down, but wanted to see if I could post it again for the current crew:

I used to delivery newspapers (10 years of it), and the ads that run in the Sunday papers are usually printed a week or so in advance....So does anyone know if we have seen or can find a copy of the Best Buy ad for tomorrow? I am curious to see if the GNex is still listed on the ad???

I don't think it's been seen again.

I have a GNex wrapped with a bow and your nametag already on it. And I have a deed to a bridge in Brooklyn. :D

:p:p:p

For those running ICS on their Inc's it is so close to a daily we still have no camera, but oh so close. Chad's incredikernel solved a ton of reboot issues and gapps are playing nice now!

Oh I wouldn't bet 4-6 months, no way. Is it possible? Yes, but IMO not likely.

Just remember, the hardware as several reviews have stated is good, but not great. That alone is too bad given its status.
This will be the best phone without a UI skin and getting direct updates from Google 4-6 months from now.. and probably 12-15 months from now, I'll wager. That's more than good enough for me. :)

And from a West Coaster, In and Out is one of the best burgers out here...But in our area we also have Habit Burger....Take the name as you will.....

Come On VZW....My OG Droid is about dead....I can text on it ONLY now, it knows it should have been replaced already, but I would really like the replacement to be the GNex. Will you just release the phone already!!!!

Thanks to the Mods for keeping this a Family Friendly Play-Area.

Ha! That is pretty much true. We'll have to see if we get any leaks.

As a side note, I had a job as a district manager for a newspaper while I was in college. The early hours worked well for the schoolwork. Also delivered pizza at night. But on sunday, we'd get a few of the Sunday inserts just incase a customer didn't get theres so we could drop it off. It was always fun when there was something in the Sunday inserts like free McDonalds monopoly gamepieces or samples, etc. Instead of grabbing a bundle, we'd grab 50 bundles and scour them for the goodies.

I'll wager with you ;) The GN will be the best phone for "us" for the next year IMO ; )

I have a feeling that this phone is going to sell so well that it is literally going to blow Verizon's mind.

I think it will sell well too, however I don't think it will break any records. Keep in mind that people wanting and demanding a pure google phone are the minority. The average user will probably not care much and go for the devices with more marketing hype.

I called my local Radio Shack this morning and they got one in last night. He said that he can sell it to me and im in here now waiting to be rang up. i will let you guys know how it goes.

Just one! And you might get it, gl!

I went to an In and Out last time I was in California, and yes, it was delicious. But Five Guys still serves the best burger I've ever had, as far as I'm concerned ;)

Uh. So yeah, the other radioshack I called was more honest and said yes, they had one (1!) in stock but they weren't allowed to sell it "for maybe a couple more days". :(
What's with Radio Shack getting one in stock? Not the first time I've heard that, but doesn't make too much sense.

I've never been to an In & Out. My aunt is in Wisconsin and likes Butter Burger
As Roosevelt alluded, you mean there's another burger place besides Five Guys? Seems I purged any recollection of other burger places.

OT:
 HOLY MOLEY!!! I don't think I ever went over 2gigs!?!?!

Pics or it never happened! LOL!!! :D:D

OK so I have a slightly selfish question/request. I actually had a review on my rezound published by HTCPedia.com - An Online Encyclopedia for HTC Users. I said that since the rezound and the g-nex have the same resolution (1280x720) and the gnex had a bigger screen that the rezound picture may very well be the better display (of course this is not taking into account the differences between samoled and slcd).

Would love to hear the thoughts of the G-nex elite:)
Here's my article: HTC Rezound Review

Having had the Rezound for a couple of weeks, I largely agree with your great review. In fact, I'd bet a totally objective review of just the hardware would give the edge to the Rezound over the GNex. It certainly appears to have a better camera than the GNex.

Interestingly, as impressed as I was with the still section of the Rezound's camera, that's how unimpressed I was with the video section. I found it soft and just not well-defined. The videos I've seen from the GNex actually look better to me, even with the jello.

I'd disagree with you regarding the screen, and in fairness I have to confess I haven't even seen the GNex screen. The reason I'd think the GNex screen would trump the Rezound's (and the Rezound does have a gorgeous display) is the Samoled screen. The combination of the resolution, larger screen and poppy colors, will just give more impact to the GNex screen IMO. I wouldn't doubt if the colors on the Rezound turn out to be more accurate since I've yet to see one of these Samoled/OLED displays on phones that didn't exaggerate colors. But my guess is that my preference would be for the GNex.

If it ever comes out, I may actually be able to make an educated decision. :)

Five Guys is definitely up there love em, but have you by chance had one from Boardwalk? But really, the best burger is at home on the grill

So what cases/screen protectors is everybody going with?

i may as well order something to appease my appetite

Seems as though a lot of folk went with TPU cases? (idk what that is)

The Steinheil sp's are really nice so as long as you don't get the anti-smudge ones. They take away a lot of screen clarity imo. A lot of folk also like the Ghost Armor sp's

I have had the ReZound for almost a month now, and the battery life is, in a word, OUTSTANDING. I would be surprised to get battery life this good out of ANY smartphone, but to be getting it out of an HTC phone is remarkable, to say the least. After all, doesn't HTC stand for "Hit The Charger"? :p

Yup. Battery life blew away my Charge and my Bionic with the standard battery. In fact, with the Rezound I never felt a strong need to use an extended battery as I have with every other smartphone I've owned. I also found it to have the best 4G radio I've ever seen.

If the GNex either doesn't meet my expectations or if it's pulled entirely, I'll have no problems going back to the Rezound and waiting for ICS. It is a wonderful phone.
