One of the best tv series that is out right now, IMHO. I've yet to see an episode I didn't enjoy.

The whole series is basically about a burned spy name Michale Weston. While he tries to figure out who burned him and get his life back with the CIA he does side jobs helping out random people. There is always someone that needs help and there is always talk about him being burned. It is a great show and has some funny stuff too.

My son absolutely loves that show. I keep meaning to check it out.

If you have Netflix streaming, it's available there.

I recently started watching, halfway through Season2 myself and I can't begin to agree with OTD enough, the show is incredible.
Plus I was the 1 person that liked Blair Witch Project 2 and the dude that plays Michael was in that (among other movies). :D

Dear brothers-and-sisters-in-misery-waiting,

Question for those of you who are app developers. I'm waiting to purchase the nexus as my first Android phone, coming from an awful Touch Pro II. I understand that the nexus is the current Googlephone, and that this means we'll have ICS updates more rapidly and for a longer period than most other phones.

Are there any benefits to developing android apps specifically on a Googlephone like the nexus? (easier dev cycle, fewer hoops to jump through?) If so I will keep waiting for the nexus release, otherwise I might as well get another reasonably nice phone like the Rezound.

Thank you. I am looking forward to porting games and apps to Android!

Yes, against my will though. I had the same head turning experience during the NexXus commercial.

I have a problem. :o

The head turning experience with the Nexxus commercial, and closely scanning every Verizon commercial for the Nexus hiding somewhere in the background.

I'm not a dev but judging from the complaints of most devs, considering the fact that there is only one phone which officially supports ICS right now, you don't need to really worry about fragmentation (I could be wrong).

It was hard to leave. :D

The one I went to was in AZ, was on a college trip and I can't remember where exactly. I think there is one in Vegas too.

We should make it the location of the Official Galaxy Nexus Pre-Release Thread Reunion Meet-up. :D:D

yeah, it started in some dive shack in Phx, but then moved out to Chandler when it got popular. ...i wonder if P3 went there to drown his sorrows when he had to return his GNex.

I can't believe how unproductive I have become since I found this place!

Anyway, went to Verizon today. Claimed they had nothing in stock for the Nexus. Not even a dummy. I tend to believe him. Son and I questioned him from here to Sunday. ;)

He claims that any updates for the nexus will still have to go through Verizon first so the big thing about getting all the updates quickly and as they happen because it is a google phone isn't really true. Thoughts on that?

And we had to half cave in on the whole nexus thing. Son and I both wanted one but he is due to leave the country next week and just can't wait til the 15. So he settled for the Razr. Can I admit that here? hopefully the nexus will release before that and we can return it.

I am sure there have been posts already, BUT... I have information from a Verizon District Manager from the area I live in 'confirmed' (I know... we have heard this before!) that the 15th is the day the phone will be launched. Advertising will be going up this week only a couple days before Thursday (15th). Obviously you can take this with a grain of salt... but I am near 100% sure this is accurate. Maybe this will help some of you put your worries to rest, maybe not. I thought I would at least share this information with all of you.

The Nexus One was originally put out as THE developers' phone.

I think the overall expectation is that any Nexus always will be.

A current Nexus will be first to have OS updates (so you can update and test your apps) and first to have those updates released into the Android Open Source Project code repository (so there are no mysteries as to what's under the hood).

Hope this helps. :)

Do you absolutly have to have the phone activated if you buy it on the yearly upgrade plan? I'm really leaning toward not getting the phone till right before the end of the year cause I need FREE MHS, like I have on my Eris now, cause its rooted. I dont know if a reliable roms are going to be out right away that have wireless tethering...

I guess my question is id like to buy it on the 15th but not activate it till after new years or there abouts. I wonder if they will be backordered. Well mabey I should wonder if they ever go on sale first!! lmao

It's okay. We don't hate you for doing it. We understand. :p

Traditionally, all Nexus phones have always received their updates directly from Google.

The Nexus is unique in the Android world for precisely that reason, and because it's new to Verizon, I would venture to say that's simply mistaken and is going on past, non-Nexus experience, in my opinion.

Just got checked in to our hotel in Tampa after 3 rerouted flights...anybody wanna catch me up in 25 words or less? :)
