No negotiating or anything, they just added it to my account, although when I went to a premium reseller yesterday they could not see anything listed, but then again it was the same day as it was put on the account.

I was on the Verizon website, went to their support page and clicked the send email link. So the email was through their built in systems.


EDIT: I just noticed this was post number 50 for me, which is nothing compared to some of the posters in this thread.

Hey hans i got a question. I remember a few months ago when you first started asking her info about the phone she kinda had a "omg you're crazy its a phone relax" tone. Now, it seems like she is one of us and wants the phone out just like us, lol. Or is that just me?

i jsut tried the same thing. went to contact us, then through the drop-down boxes went to upgrade, then phone rebate.
 
Just FYI...

The 850 mA chargers of olde won't even sustain charge while downloading over 4G. The included charger, however, is 1500 mA and will gain charge while downloading.

I was hoping my MOTO car charger would be enough for the GNex, but now I suspect it wont be able to sustain a charge while navigating.

In recent news of everyone getting phones at best buy.. i decided to call my local best buys called one they said they didnt have stock.. called 2nd closest they said they have stock but wont be able to sell till Th it looks like.. so i called a store outside of the city about 30 mins away and they said i would be able to buy the phone today!!

Right now i have to call verizon and ask them if they would be able to bump up my renewal date since it ends 12/28..

I'm not surprised.

I understood - but I could be wrong on this - that the testers getting the update had to go and do that manually, from a private server.

I know that the article discussing that for Googlers (Google employees) on their campus was clear about them needing to do that.

So, if the update servers aren't available for a phone not released yet, no surprise.

And has been mentioned before the Nexus S on AT&T and Sprint had different update schedules and slightly different s/w info along the way - same as with the Galaxy Nexus - those had different radios, GSM and CDMA.

Apply with salt, per usual. ;)

I tried that it didn't work so well, customer service said they would do it. Store said they wouldn't. Good luck let me know the results!

Bummer. I just checked my OG Droid's charger, and it looks to be 850 mA. I suppose it would still be useful for overnight charging though, assuming I am not using 4G overnight. Can anyone confirm that this is the case?
 
Radioshack guy called me back, said he had ONE phone to sell, then he said he would find out if he could sell it to me today and call me back...................I knew the answer already cuz he's been calling his "Verizon Rep".

He said the 15th it is...............


Can someone post the email address Verizon has been sending the fliers for 100 off a 4g phone? Or the address we can email?
