This has been a HORRIBLE sports weekend in Cincinnati. Yesterday the Crosstown Shootout between Xavier and Cincinnati ended up in a melee, er . . . Battle Roy'ale which resulted in numerous suspensions and one bloodied eye.

Today the Bengals who held their own playoff destiny in their hands decided to hand it to the Texans with their 3rd string QB.

meh, at least I still have my Galaxy Nexus to play with to soothe my wounds. Wait . . . NOOOOOOO WHY!?!? That was taken away from me too when I had it in my hands!

WORST WEEKEND EVER!

Is there an untethered Jailbreak for iOS5 yet? By untethered I mean the last Jailbreak I looked at would have you plug your phone into a computer with your jailbreak app everytime you want to restart the phone. Not saying you should need to but I would hate to have a problem and be away from my computer.
 
Apparently we all felt the need to look for more details about the $100 off for upgrading from a 3G to 4g device. I was fortunate enough to talk to a CSR who took the time to pull up all current promotions. He eventually found "midwest promotion ends 12/31/11 100 off of 4g smartphone when upgrading from 3G". To receive the discount one must sign a new 2 yr contract. Not valid on refurbished phones or to VZW employees. I asked for a promo code but none is mentioned. He did mention that OK, TN and a few other states receive $150 off.

This offer should be available in store the CSR said as long you are dealing with a direct corp store, no partner stores. Yes, discounts such as NE2 may be combined.

Of course when he went to ask for which phone I'd like to use it on, he said uhhhhh I have only seen it on YouTube. Classic!

My mother works in the Federal Government, and there are many things that she would be fired immediately for if she did as a citizen (and I'm not talking about classified information here,) because it would be incredibly unprofessional. I have every right in the world to file a complaint.

I've been around the federal govt all my life.. about only way to get fired is to get hit by lighting....
 
Guys, I would suggest we keep the overall tension in this thread to a minimum. It seems some people are getting in a heated discussion over the whole Facebook ordeal.

Just trying to temper everyone's mood before Steven comes in with another PSA :)
