Looks like it is still there. Add a Rezound to your shopping cart on verizon web site and look at the plans. Still 4GB for $30...

So yesterday, I checked out 2 Corp stores... oddly enough I got 2 different answers... :)

First store... "I can't say anything, but come back on Thursday!" and gave me their business card....

Second Store.... "We should be selling them on Monday, let me take your name and I will call, once we are selling them..." Plus gave me their business card...

So Today, i will call them both and see what happens... i will let you all know if I get some kind of good news... :)

I was wondering the same thing as one local radio shack said i could pick it up wednesday 14th and he put my name on it and said if he found out anything different he would call me. they only got one in and it is a day earlier than VZW is saying so why not.

Also anyone have any insight on upgrades. Me and my wife are on a family plan with my parents. The main line says upgrade at a discount but is unable to "transfer upgrade" . The main line is not mine and i can use that upgrade but do not want to disrupt service on that line. Can i use the upgrade and have customer service transfer the upgrade to my line after the discounted purchase price. I obviously am not eligible as this is my 5th phone this calander year.

That's where I am going to upgrade at I think, was going to go to BestBuy but the people at RS were nicer to me and they have insurance that covers accidental (so if I drop the phone, run it over, it falls in the pool etc) I'm pretty clumsy so that is a great incentive to me to get it from there!:D

I wouldn't be able to pick it up that day either, but as much as I'd like to be a launch day geek like I was for my OG Droid, I'd rather see it released sooner than later so all my friends here could get their phones. (Just please leave one for me :).)
 
I have a single line with Verizon, and one with AT&T. I'm going to port the AT&T number back to Verizon for the Nexus, and convert to a family plan. Do you guys know of any benefit to doing this at a corporate store over Best Buy (or Radio Shack for that matter)? I can't think of any reason the terms of the transaction would differ based on the seller - and if so, I'll just go with whoever has the phone (and will sell it to me). However, I didn't know if corporate stores or Best Buy had different return periods, warranties, etc. Any insight is appreciated.

Then you are eligible for an upgrade when you can renew 13 months into your current 2 yr contract (I believe VZW did away with this and now you can only upgrade at 20+ months) but since you were "grandfathered" in.

Anyway you can upgrade at 2 yr pricing now. Or on 6/20/11 is your 2YR and they will give you a loyalty discount either $30-$100

Completely depends on what you want in the phone. Personally, I want the Nexus because I play around with the mods, roms, and themes that you can use when rooted. So far the Rezound doesn't have that option. If you just want a fast, good looking phone there is no reason to avoid the Rezound. I have one now and it's a very solid phone and the screen looks great.
 
The other thing is to see if the Costco system changes their date this week.

They have a DONOTSELL for the 12/14/2011 so if that date stays the same, find a Costco and grab a Nexus.

That and an unlocked bootloader. Oh, and vanilla Android. If wishes were horses.

But yeah, I think there would be a surge in Rezound sales...
 
That's it guys, I'm done, with Phandroid showing the leaked specs for the LG Spectrum, I am going to wait for that to come out.

Since "06/20/11" was almost 6 months ago, does that mean I may be eligible for a loyalty discount at this time? I hate to ask a stupid question, but it is confusing since both items show up under the same line.
 
Ugh, can't contain this frustration, must vent. OG Droid officially on its last legs - it no longer notifies me when I have text messages; no blinking light, nothing in the notification bar. It also refuses to send an increasing percentage of texts. Where's my Nexus? :mad:
