Had a busy weekend away from the forums, but I guess it was good to get away, take a step back and enjoy some real life stuff instead of obsessing over the phone since I know that's all I will be doing this week.

Did I miss any major news this weekend, besides people getting phones from BB and RS? Didn't seem like anything crazy -- mostly caught up, but just wanted to make sure I didn't miss any huge news.

Here is to hoping that the release date is actually Thursday and we can all post to the Phandroid app from our Nexii (??) in our new lounge thread.

Good morning everyone. Back from my quick weekend getaway with the daughter. Ended up having to work the early shift unexpectedly so I'm just now getting a chance to sleep for a couple hours. Bring me good news when I wake up! :D

I'm just glad there were no more lock downs. Although I'm sure a lock every other day would have enabled many around here to shower more often. ;)

I'm not quite sure what the difference is... When I login to VZW and I look at the upgrade status for my devices (I have 5 lines), it shows the following for one of my lines:

Upgrade Available on 06/20/11
Upgrade at a discounted price

Ahhh thank you. Luckily my girl got home quickly so I was able to call and get it clarified. I had never even heard of the term "Iconic list", so I wasn't aware that it was specifically for future upgrades. Honestly, I've talked my way into so many upgrades in the past that I was not even aware you could move up a future one. My upgrade call usually sounds like this:

VZW rep: "No"
Me: "Yes, darn it" (censored)
VZW: "No"
Me: "Let me talk to you supervisor"
VZW Supervisor: "No"
Me: "Let me talk to you supervisor"
VZW Supervisor's Supervisor: "No"
Me: "I'll walk. I swear I'll do it. Now get me your supervisor"
VZW Customer Support Supervisor: "Ok, fine."

Lol... sorry for the long drawn out reponse, but it was the best way to describe my bi-monthly call to VZW, lol. Again, thank you for clarifying that. I was extremely nervous that after all this waiting, I'd walk away with an Envy2 and my tail tucked between my legs.

We'll see something today I bet. Rumors will fly. I have no basis for this, but this is another supposed launch week with less than 4 days till supposed launch.
