I bought SwiftKeyX for 10 cents. Maybe I'll actually USE it on Nexus. But I figure I can't really go wrong with a dime app. Oh BTW Beautiful Widgets (which I would never use) is also on sale for a dime :)

One thing I don't like about swift key is that sometimes it deletes my words right in the middle of typing it. Drives me crazy and happens about every 5 or so messages roughly. Hey I only paid ten cents though and it mine for life.

Well this is good Nexus news (note: non-release related). Someone figured out how to modify the launcher to put icons/widgets in the space the old Google search widget occupied. Also lets you choose between 3 and 5 home screens.

I call BS. look at the time. No hacker worth his salt works at 5 in the afternoon!

I am new to android but like everybody else anxiously await the GNex. For those of you who have had multiple android phones, do you think the bugs/issues talked about in the GNex forums about the already released GSM version are about right for a new phone? I will be plunking down $600 for two phones for my wife and I and dont want to get a lemon. Is it possible for the LTE variant to have problems not yet reported? Any insight would help. Thanks.

Oh good lord!

I'm on page 1537!!!!!!

By the time I catch up with this thread the phone will be released. :(:D:cool:

We all hope so, but unfortunately, I feel like the release of the nexus is like this paradox:

If you move exactly half the distance to your goal every step you take, do you ever reach your goal?

No phone launches perfect. We can only hope all the bugs we have seen have been isolated issues and if not, at least a software fixable one.

The only other issue I could see bug wise with ours over the GSM model could be issues with the LTE radio. I haven't seen any reported yet though.

Well if you unlock the bootloader you may want to make that the first thing you do as it will wipe data.

I know. My thoughts are a see saw on this. To me it would be like when I flash a rom and have to do everything from scratch. So that's isn't even an issue. And what if *gasp* it turns out I don't like the phone. (highly unlikely but I haven't touched the unicorn yet so I don't have that 100% certainty that some others do) Then I have to lock it again. I'm just so torn.
