Just speculation here but I bet the decision about the 9th happened a few days before it...so thus no PR. I believe the equipment guide was pulled or changed last Wednesday.

If it was intended to be a soft launch then they would have made an announcement on the 8th or even morning of the 9th I'm assuming. By then they had delayed it, therefore no announcement. If it is indeed going to be released this week I expect an announcement Tuesday or Wednesday or Thursday this week.

Right. If Verizon announces it today and don't release it until Thursday, the people out there that have no clue about this phone might be deterred from buying something Today, Tomorrow, or Wednesday. They need sales every day to hit their holiday numbers.

Plus no, i don't think thats right. they don't really care about making money on phones. they make very little. They only care about plans. and G-nex people are mostly upgrade types.

According to Asus. If you want it though I would be very savvy about finding who is getting stock and be there first as the first TF was HARD to get on the first day it was available and then would show up here and there for seconds for months before it was somewhat easy to find.
 
random question-will the nexus come with a stock weather widget like my TB, it seems as if it's essential to me now lol. if not, what's a nice looking one to get?
 
wallet is only on the sprint nexus s 4g. however all of the nexus S and gNEX phones have nfc... just not used by any app.. and probably requires some type fo crypto keys pairs etc to be useful. I sure wouldn't want to use GW or any wallet if the keys were not hardware controlled. ( I doubt I will use any wallet anyway.)

Beautiful Widgets has a very nice clock/weather widget. It's 10 cents in the Android Market today.

Dude, stop being so sour about the Bears, and just accept that they dig their own graves. lol (I understand the frustration...I just let go of getting angry at them, much like I did the Cubs.)

Except for Hester. I've seen him training...he is the fastest man alive and is far too good for the Bears...
