Nod nod, I'm just funning with ya. :) I'm sure the RAZR will be fine phone. And you are probably right about moto radios.

I just have this fever...and the only prescription...is MORE NEXUS!!! [insert Christopher Walken impersonation and cue 'don't fear the reaper'] :)

The thing about technology is, it gets outdated quickly. The minute something is released, something better is already in the works. But the thing about that is, if you always keep waiting for the next best thing, you will always be waiting. There really isn't a way to have the best thing. You just need to decide whether or not to settle on whatever the best product is at the time, purchase it, and then wait for your eligible upgrade, and whatever is best at that time, upgrade to that. Or you can just upgrade everytime something new comes out, and shell out full retail, which is not economically viable for the consumer.

I think one phone recently was released first and then the PR later that day

2 pm tuesday, one day notice for release Thursday... Does not compute! :p

Stores have inventory, employees are trained, they could wait until Thursday morning to make the official announcement if they really wanted to.

No, you aren't wrong in thinking that. At least from some phone releases, I've seen a press release or some sort of official word come out at least one or two days before the release date. It would make sense so the corporate machines gets ready.

Where did you hear this? All I've seen from testers is positive feedback regarding LTE/Voice reception. If you could provide a couple sources I'd love to read them.

build quality and call quality are a BIG concern for me (and a big reason why the RAZR is still in contention for me). where have you heard reports of those issues with the GNex?? i would sincerely like to read up so i can be better informed, and not make an "emotional" purchase come Thursday. Thanks!!

SPOILER ALERT
In the 2nd to last episode, they showed a young girl inside the barn, but from the camera angle, the sun glare prevented you from seeing any distinguishing features of her. From that point on, I was certain she was in the barn. And then after the mass shooting, I looked at my wife and said, "and then there was one" and she came out. Such a sad ending, but I'm glad they can FINALLY move on from this. February can't come fast enough.

I hear ya, great game! One of the many nice things about GOG is that you don't have to download it now, just add it to your cart and download later. Thats what I did (don't wanna download it to work).

They have an awesome collection of other games too, great prices.

I think there's a good chance of this Thursday. I also think there's a good chance they barely market it unless after its out.

Reporting back as promised - sadly, the 611 rep and another telesales rep were both unable to access the Nexessories. Hilbe was kind enough to give me the extension of the individual rep who sold him the accessories; however, I suspect it'll be unsuccessful, it seems that the capability to sell the items was there, but was removed and will be unavailable until release. I'll confirm with Hilbe's rep, but as long as my corporate Verizon store has the extended battery there when I purchase the phone, that will be fine.

Macs need to download a simple program to interface with the MTP protocol - Android File Transfer.
 
Received my Zagg invisible shield last week and TPU case today... fingers crossed I will have something for them to be used now any day now - Thursday by the latest...

While I have no real data or proof to back this up, my gut says you'd be right.
