This is really making me mad about it being JUST a Midwest promotion. CSR over the phone couldn't do anything. Makes me so mad, why can't the rest of the country get it? It's really unfair.

It's possible that Verizon said told all of its employees if they even dare leak a picture of ANYTHING they would be fired immediately. Perhaps they don't want this date to leak like the 9th date, just in case they have to push it back again.

I think an anonymous twitter account should suffice. One employee, with some skill, should be able to send out a leaked screen shot of the email. No?

I understand that but still; If a customer has the knowledge of the promotion and calls in and asks for it, they should give it to you. Bad handling if you ask me.

On an even brighter note, I just called my local corporate store and asked if I could schedule an appointment to come in and buy a Nexus when it goes on sale this Thursday. The gal put me on hold for a couple of minutes and said come in at 9AM and ask for Roy!

No FAT32 on the GN - That would require 2 separate partitions for apps/media/etc. To be able to have a single unified partition that the GN utilizes (thus the 'lack' of USB Mass Storage), the internal memory is not formatted to FAT32.

Android 2.2 was Yaffs.

I agree that's probably similar to how the leaks always appear. If there's no word by Wednesday, we might as well get prepared to to be disappointed.
