Alright, so it seems Major's news this morning may actually be a one off, as stores are still confirming Thursday at this point... Cmon Verizon, just give us the PR and remove all doubt... Why do I know they are going to wait until tomorrow for that.

No nothing mailed to me ... after putting me on hold checking with someone the second CSR I spoke to said I was eligible and that she would notate/flag my account and the salesperson would be able to see the notation and apply it at checkout (but she said make sure to mention it to the salesperson because they often don't pay attention).
 
Remember....

Tuesday is the day we hype Thursday up. Wednesday is when we find a hundred reasons why we are delayed again.

So far, not enough 12/15 hype!!!!! I'm nervous.
 
Anyone else that bought the Droid X on launch day trying to upgrade to the Nexus? Is there any other way to upgrade to the Nexus than by adding a line? My upgrade date is 3/15/12..
 
For all those doubting the 15th due to lack of info, consider this:

The Bionic was released on 09/08, with a press release on 09/07. In reviewing the Official Bionic Release Date thread, I can see that there were no big leaks in the days prior to the release.

Verizon can (and will) release phones without a huge marketing blitz beforehand - The Bionic is proof of that.

So no news does NOT equal bad news. :)

I disagree. I think it looks real. The 5 is not offline like that other guy said; it's just the way the font is. Obviously there are imperfections, however... but if someone really wanted to go to all this work to create a fake doc, I guarantee they'd want it to look as legit as possible. IMO, they wouldn't do it choppy or use two fonts on a such a small sheet. Obviously no one knows for sure, but based on everything I've seen over the last few weeks... I'm giving this one the benefit of the doubt.
 
The longer this release takes the more hesitant I'm getting with switching to Verizon.. :confused:

If it's not out by the 15th I'm probably going to lean towards the Note, 50/50 chance.
 
I just called a Radio Shack down the street from my office. Exact conversation :

Me: Do you have the Verizon Galaxy Nexus?
Employee: Yes, we have them but Verizon instructed us not to sell them.
Me: I will come in with cash right now if you will sell me one.
Employee: Yea, the thing is I cannot sell it. But give me your number and I will call you.

I then passed my information along. I am paying full retail and I basically just tell people I will pay cash for it right now. So far, not working. Either way, I've had it confirmed from multiple stores that they have them sitting there. Good sign either way.
