If it's coming from Verizon there should be no harm in downloading it. I'm rooted so I will not get this notification.

I've been through updates before, only to have missing features, reduced battery life, etc. type of issues...not always *completely* harmless. :)

I'm downloading now...stay tuned.

Another 6 mins to install and reboot. Boot animations are the same and still takes FOREVER to reboot. Still 2.3.4 and still Sense 2.1

about 30mb

Improvements to Clock and Alarm features,

Maybe that will fix folks problems with the alarm. Would have been a nice suprise if it was sense 3.0

I think the update file would have to be larger than 30mb for a Sense update.

Hey Everyone,

I'm a new DINC2 owner of less than a week now and loving it. I was disappointed when my alarms went AWOL like so many others but I'm happy to report that the update has restored them! But for how long? ;)

Well that a small amount of good news. This has been a long time coming.

Just installed the update, everything is up and running!

"More bars in more places" ha ha. No idea yet if the actual signal db are better tho

Just loaded it off the local library's wifi network.

Hey RB this could be the one you have been waiting for!!! ;)

I wish it was the Ubergizmo one y'all were talking about up there, that would have sure made my day, but yeah 30mb is too small. ;)

At least they are still paying attention to us and our "old" phone model!!! :)

Hmmm... Verizon video in the all apps drawer, that's something new. Looks like they are prepping to launch their own Netflix like video streaming service... Anyway, more bloatware... ;(

How are you guys getting OTA updates via wifi? Mine always download via 3G. Not a huge deal here because it's fairly smally, but larger updates take forever.
