CHANGED FROM AF ADDICT MIKESTONY
Well the info is coming in again, definitely not floodgate opening levels like it was for the 9th, but we are two days closer, and we have the gag order to contend with. I think its gonna happen.

I love how everyone's pouring in with the 15th now. Every post I read that further confirms the 15th makes me feel all fuzzy inside.
Can someone spring for this girl's Premium membership? That pic is too small!
lol
Just got a text from my local VZW CSR, and she confirmed that I can come pick up my GNex on Thursday at 9AM. FWIW...
I just got my LTC and bought a Smith & Wesson MP9. Excellent pistol. My brother in law has an AR15 and says it's the best gun he's ever fired. I don't carry, I just target shoot.
OT Gun Talk:
Im a Gun guy. I'm into Glocks and recommend the 9mm versions to all new shooters. Start with a Glock 19, buy 1000 rounds and take a training course. Then you can gradually move into the more powerful calibers. I personally carry a .40, Glock 23. Best weapon I've ever owned.
The AR is my choice of carbine as well. Big discrepancy on brands, some are real junk. I'd stick with Bravo Company(my personal brand), Daniel Defense, or Colt. I would recommend another forum for this. Go there an READ, read, read. M4Carbine.net If you need a referral, let me know, it can speed up the approval process for getting in there.
PM me if you have any other questions, or we could get a thread going in the lounge. let me know!
I can't imagine starting anywhere other than 1911.
Can someone explain 2 forum lingoes to me:
1. What does FAP mean?
2. Where does "arrow to the knee" come from?
TIA
I read somewhere that the Nexus runs hot. Don't remember where.
Anyone else heard this?
Yay! Gun talk!
[Hide] Currently all I have is:
XD-45
Mosin Nagant
Mossberg 590, 20", 9 shot
Would have many many more if I had the money. Im a starving college student lol.
I agree that people should have some training if they're going to own a gun. I got mine in the Military.
Personally, I prefer the XD over the Glock.
Mosin Nagant is a great rifle for $99.

I think he was responding to DrexelDragon, not Scott?

Corporate store.Reseller?
Hmm, I wonder if that's related to the decision to underclock the processor.I read somewhere that the Nexus runs hot. Don't remember where.
Anyone else heard this?
Yes. I can confirm. I mentioned it a couple days ago.
2. Skyrim1. FAP = SoloHan(d) >.>

I love when you can tell what the person is saying even though it's just a GIF![]()
I totally disagree with you on that math part.Comp Science is better. Trust me. A major in the STEM field will most likely land you a job, whereas something in the arts usually won't. Even better is if you Double Major in Comp. Science and Mathematics. Alot of the courses overlap with each other, and those extra Math Courses in the Math Major will allow you to be really efficient in computer science. As for careers, it's not only Programming. You can go into software engineering, certain engineering jobs that don't require ABET Certification, Almost any type of Analyst position, as well as other paths. Technology and Science is the future. If you love music, don't turn it into a job. Trust me, I've been down that path. Turning something you love into work is the Ultimate Sin. I love cars, but I wouldn't want to work on other people's cars everyday for the rest of my life.
