Dissapointed with the Extended Battery

Anyone else disappointed with the extended battery? I charged it to about 85% and now 3 hours later it's down to 50%. Does the 4G really eat that much?

Charge to 100%.

Let it run down to 20% or less. This will allow android to collect some battery stats.

Repeat for a day or two, and enjoy your new phone!

how much weight does the extended battery add? Lots of buzz saying it doesn't add hardly any thickness to the phone!

This phone seems like the most power hungry 4G phone I've had (Charge, Bionic & Rezound). I haven't tried the extended battery, but the regular one is really bad.

just got done charging my nexus to 100%. btw you don't know power hungry 4g phone, my wife has a thunderbolt. that things chugs battery like a frat boy at a end of semester party.

The battery post I made a few days ago showed something like 3 hours to go from 100% to 4%.

Seems like you're doing pretty good to me!

mine was fully chargred at 2, its now 4:50 and i am.at 22%

I have not turned on auto brightness so hopefully that helps a bit, also the vibrating when i touch buttons, i have it disabled but its still.vibrates!. If i can get about 5hrs usage time a.fay i would be happy....saying that makes me realizr hoe much time i waste on these phones!

Sorry for any typing mistakes, new to this keyboard from an iphone! Why is auto correct not working ???

Wow !! so you guys are burning through the 2100mah battery in just a few hours ??

What kind of use is this ? I don't even think the rezound would die that fast with LTE Teather going the whole time ... Hopefully after a few days we start seeing better battery life. I had read so many reviews saying that this had some of the best battery life of any Android phone even on LTE

Mine is doing just fine so far. The way I figure it I will get a minimum of 10hrs out of it.

The battery is the reason I didn't turn in my Rezound today for a GNex. I thought about "stock", but I'm sure S-Off will be achieved eventually. I thought about the SAMOLED screen, but the Rezound screen is absolutely beautiful. Really, my Rezound is thick. It's got the extended battery and many might call it a brick. I call it an absolutely wonderful phone that will last me all day with heavy use.

If someone with a GNex would download Watchdog Light from the market and check 'include phone processes' and 'monitor phone processes' on the settings, this will check the phone to see if it too has the 'suspend' bug which affects battery life. My Razr has it as do many other varied Android phones. Was wondering if it affected ICS phones or not. Hoping that in ICS it has been addressed and fixed. It's a bug that while the phone is in standby screen off just sitting unused for any length of time, suspend process uses up a majority of CPU time switching the phone back and forth from sleep. This drains battery life while the phone isn't being used.

Mine did seem to drop a lot whileminnstandby now that I thinknof it, it's charging now but I will check that app download out after it charges (takes about 2hrs 20min to charge from completely dead to full)

Well it's my first day with my Nexus so I expected to blow through battery life. Screen eats up a lot of battery, and setting all this stuff up requires the screen. Plus I stream music from the phone to my BT headset constantly... that helps. I haven't used a lot of 4G or phone time: YET.

Tonight she'll get a full charge and we'll see how it goes tomorrow.

BTW Star Wars looks phenomenal on this screen! :D

I am awaiting FedEx to bring me my phone tomorrow. Who here has the extended battery and do you think it is that much more effective than the standard battery. Or should I spring for the standard battery/charger/y-cable thing Verizon also has? Thoughts from those of you that braved the lines today would be greatly appreciated!
