for most intents and purposes yes... on metro anyways.More likely they reported it as being lost and Metro disabled the service on it. In which case it is a brick.

s whats the cdma and lte whats the difference cuz i dont know shit about phonesA "brick" means it's useless, as in "I bricked my phone" -- like trying to flash a Rev ROM to the Esteem. DEAD.
While your phone isn't dead, as in it doesn't work, it's dead as in you will never be able to use it as a phone. If the owner reports the phone lost/stolen to Metro, that phone is no longer usable on the MetroPCS network. BLACKLISTED.
Theoretically you could flash it to another network, like Cricket -- but the LTE part of the phone would not work, only the CDMA part.

the phone is not returnable i called whoever owned the phone is no longer a metro pcs customerNothing you need to worry about. Instead you should do the right thing and turn in that phone.

It still belongs either to the original owner (if bought outright) or MetroPCS (if subsidised). If it has been blocked then officially it's stolen property, most probably also reported to the police. The only thing we can advise you to do is hand it in.
