yes you can move nandroids backups by copy and pasting.Like I said, this learning curve is killing me.
Can i just copy/paste the nandroids i want back to the card or do i have to grab everything?
Nothing is working, I can see sd card from flash menu but, recovery saying it cant access. Should I try to reinstall the recovery?
If so, what should i wipe b4 flash if all i'm flashing is recovery?
No dice, same result. So frustrating!!! I can hear texts coming in but, i can't open my phone!!
I thought about that but, i thought why would i want a backup of something that isn't working?? I do have some previous nandroids when life was better, it will just be missing some new apps, no biggie there.well unfortunately at this point the best suggestion i have is to wipe everything and reinstall. I would make a nandroid backup even though you cannot use it for recovery maybe you can use it to help recover some of the stuff your inevitably going to loose.

so do you see the nandroid backup in recovery? at what point does it say that it can't access the card?

Just trying to ease some of your frustration.
Have you tried to completely wipe everything except the sd card and flash a different Rom?
I would go to the roms and kernels download sticky and get the latest rooted stock Rom, and flash that alone, no kernels. See if it'll boot up normally.
I'd link you the rom, but I'm on my phone.
At this point its worth a try with stock everything just to get you a working phone. If that doesn't work, try the new sd card.
If that's not it, we'll attach about 5lbs of C4 to it and blow it to pieces! I'm just kidding. LOLJust trying to ease some of your frustration.
We'll get it working one way or another.
Have you tried just wiping Cache and dalvic to see if that brings back your slide? What about just reflashing the rom instead of trying to do a nandroid. Wipe Cache, Dalvic, and reflash.
+1 to this. Wipe cache and dalvik and then flash the ROM again

This is a very weird one, never saw this exact situation before.
Let us know when you get the new card, and try the flashes.
Hopefully we won't have to pull out the ruu and completely start from scratch.![]()

Try going to mounts and unmount the disc then try to remount the disc and see if that works. If not then try to reflash recovery.
I installed a different version of Amon last night to no avail.
so what version of amon ra do you have now? have you tried the latest version? amon ra 2.3?
Ok everybody, your fav noob here...After much fretting my phone is back in business!! I threw in the towel and reflashed MikG 3 and phone is. Still questioning recovery, but, whatever.
I did notice quickly that at the beginning of the white screen, is it common to say image not found or something of that nature? that moment is so fast i couldn't tell what it was saying.
