Yeah...It's pimped this time. All the "stupid little things" have been addressed and the BIG issues with screen lag, FC's, etc. seem to have been fixed as well. I've been running for about 4-5 hours and it is impressive!

I saw that BB v0.5 came out so I just downloaded that but I don't know if I'll make it to it tonight...so many roms...so little time...:D
 
Amen to that - I DL'd both, so I'll copy them over to the Nandroid folder, and then play with Ultimate tonight and BB tomorrow - but not for long, got a test to study for....

(promised I'd leave an hour ago, too - geez....)

It ends up being every frickin night too! I end up staying up til 2 am and off to work at 8 am...I should have got an iPhone so I wouldn't have anything fun to do like this! :D
 
Nah, then you'd be up til 4 AM trying to figure out why your firmware keeps dying and your phone losing all connectivity and resetting....

I've set a goal that until I finish my paper, there will be no ROMing tonight. We'll see what happens
 
See, I am about to start the process now- full backup of my existing ADC ROM, followed by wipe / restore of the 3.7.

After that, no matter what, the books come out.

Oh, also decided that since I slept for 9 hours last night, I can afford the all nighter :D

So I get to play *and* study....
 
Good luck. I'm considering an all nighter too, so I'll probably be installing in a few hours. Let us know how it goes

BB 0.5 is the 2.1 based ROM. If you are using 1.1 (2.0.1 ROM) you have to use nandroid...I pretty sure that is an accurate statement.

I think the Ultimate 3.7 thread has been hijacked...oops! That rom is a big improvement and the most esthetically pleasing IMO.
 
ok, guess i will wait a while, i don't mind petes, maybe i will just do a nandroid at home, i am ending my shift at work. i have been using latest petes for a while and losing root sucks, plus it seems to have slowed DOWN! I will probably do the nandroid and hit this up. it looks pretty :)

How did you lose root? Can't you just nandroid a backup of a previous rom that had root?

Droidmod is a 2.0.1 mod while Bugless Beast is available in both 2.0.1 and 2.1 flavors. Droidmod is good and stable but I loaded it and played with it for a few minutes...and I was just turned off. Nothing wrong with it but I like the 2.1 roms that are coming out now. Not for the live wall papers...not for the launcher...just because (sorry to say, that's the best answer I have).
 
I am gonna install in just a minute. I really like what the Sholes team did, so I figured the DM ROM was worth a shot too. We'll see how Ultimate 3.7 tickles me fancy!
