Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme II for the LG Esteem MS910

So. I have tried injecting apps from pc to the phone. The phone just reboots everytime an install goes on.

My problem is that I dosa not know how I am going boot into recovery mode, because I don't have the app and its impossible for me to install it and when I press the power button I do not see that option, anyway I can boot into recovery mode a different way?

adb reboot recovery

Okay folks, after a lot of head beating against the desk I cant figure out what the issue is with the apps.

I downgraded to zvb with LGNPST, then upgraded to ZVC with LG Mobile tools, then root n installed CWM with the AIO (after I fixed the .bat), all that went fine. But like posted try installing an app n it reboots, so after about 4hrs of fighting with it, a long break, I came back n installed GSE-C again n everything is working fine for me now. Kinda makes me think something changed with the dl in the LG Mobile Tools but I dunno, just dunno lol.

Found a fix for the no install apps problem. Boot into recovery and wipe data. That's a factory reset for the rom. Once you boot again you should be able to install apps. Hopes that helps some people..cause now I can install apps.
was this with GSE-C or stock?? If it was wit hGSE-C it clearly states to do a full wipe b4 installing.

I tried that with stock ZVC after upgrading trying to dup the issue n wiping didnt help then, so glad it worked for you. This has been a headache for me and have experience with all sorts of issues lol. I can just image whats its like for the 'just wants it to work' types lol.

H
you can get rom manager for free ;)

Here I fond the tomorrow manager....so now I get on the com and install this the same way I did my root? And how do I do the total wipe like u where talking about? THANK YOU PG FOR THE HELP thus far.....

Lol I told u I have the rom manager... I found it.... but how do I wipe my system? And how do u install the new rom, the same way as I did my root?
dl the rom n copy to your sdcard

reboot into CWM

factory reset/wipe data

advanced > wipe dalvik cache

back to main menu

install zip from sdcard

choose zip from sdcard or choose zip from internal sd (depending on which it dl or copied it to)

select the rom zip

let it install

reboot.

It was with gse-c and I did do a full wipe before install. But couldnt install apps. Decided to wipe data caus i thought factory reset would fix it. And it did.Been flashing rooms for over two years now. I know how things go down.

Thank You for your hard work.
