I am new at all this leak stuff, so you know be patient with me I am sure I will make more mistakes along the way :)

Seriously there needs to a way to make a summary of each new page of this thread

No worries. We appreciate whatever you can give, whenever you can give it. We appreciate all you've done already. If you never got us anything else, we'd be grateful enough as is.

Well that was a little...rude. A simple "actually, that's not really true." would have sufficed just fine. I never professed to be an expert programmer. If you'll look back, I actually stated that I dropped out of my school's CS department because I suck at coding. That was merely my understanding.

Anywho, that RAM isn't a dealbreaker for me either. I want Sense UI though, so I'll most likely take this over the N1...plus, I think the N1 is kinda ugly.

lol...I remember you saying that, but that is now probably about 900 posts back!

I think the dealbreaker for me will be - if the specs aren't exact - is whether $279 for the N1 vs probably $199 (with Verizon discount) for the Incredible is worth the price difference for something I may not even be able to notice personally in the first place.

Is there any rumor about which carrier will get it?

I think WiMax = Sprint....and I dont think I can take another 8 months of speculation and forum talk lol...no offense to anyone lol....I think i got a gray hair from all the speculation and worrying and waiting for the Incredible

Can someone who is in the know please answer me. Is this as far out as we go with rumored android phones for verizon. What i mean is, is there supposed to be a more powerful phone coming out in the summer or fall? Im new to the whole cell phone rumor thing so i dont know how early the rumors start or even how many phones HTC is planning on rolling out to big red this year.

I think earlier in this thread someone mentioned the Motorola Shadow coming to VZW in June or July. I can't find it right now but I'm sure I read it.

Are you kidding?!? Heck, I've already got my sights set on the HTC Scorpion! Who's with me?? :D

HTC Scorpion is a Monster, Runs Android 2.2 on a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon Processor | Android Central

ALLLLLLL ABOOOOAAARRRDDDD!!!! HAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

Yeah, and isn't the 1.5 GHz processor a dual core? I think I read somewhere, and I can't remember where, that Qualcomm will not be selling these chip sets for mobile phone applications until early 2011. I'll look for a link, and post if I find it.

For Sprint (darnit).

Re: gray hair: yes indeedy. Me too... but at least you have hair so stop complaining! :p

Okay......take this for what you want but I just called VZW in regards to the 30 day refund (want to get Droid but if I do I want to be able to return if the N1 or Incredible drops on the 23rd) and the VZW rep said "The Nexus 1 is the next device to come to Verizon """GUARANTEED"""" but there is no date listed and the only thing the intranet does is direct them to say there is no guaranteed date.

That being said she could not tell me the date BUT THIS IS THE BIG PART......according to her (and a data technician and marketing dude nearby after I asked) the device will be sold online through Google.......AND BY VERIZON!! Now does that mean VZW online or Brick and mortar? She did not say but the tech people have been going through the support training for the N1 so she said that she thinks that means both.

As for the Incredible. Nothing on the Intranet and if she does an internal search it only takes her to Phonescoop and other blogs to make sure she is not saying anything "wrong" (which could mean certain things are leaked on purpose by VZW) IMO. Hope this gives someone something to think about.

Lets hope the 23rd for the incredible is still good. I would hate to wait for a late April/May release. I would even take just an announcement of the Incredible on the 23rd and then wait for a few weeks, I don't care, I just NEED INFO!!!

Here's a question to people....Let's say N1 and Incredible both are sold through verizon (online and in B&M stores), both 1Ghz processor, both 512MB Ram, both 3.7 AMOLED display, and 5MP camera but the Incredible won't come out until a month after the N1. How many people would go with the N1? Would Sense UI be enough to make you hold out for the Incredible? Especially with the ability to root your device with the desire's rom.

Personally, I like the look of the N1 much better. I think the desire is more desirable than the Nexus One.

Of course I'm still in the minority that believes the Incredible is gonna have a camera > 5MP, and I might have to wait and see if the camera is much better.

All things inside being equal the N1 (should the sub par MT internals be a deciding factor........maybe) based on looks. Of course you would have to hoep the 3G reception issues are T-Mobile and not the device itself.

I think i would get the N1 because im sure it will get updated faster and the incredible would have to be reworked by htc for the sense ui i really like the sense ui but n1 users will get that with roms and i like the look better but still not certain when both are out i will decide

Pretty sure they already have the Sense UI all Rom'd up. But I'm starting to stray to the N1 side for the same reasons.

Tough question...I wanted the N1 until i saw sense 2.1 and heard of the Incredible...for me it would have to come down to convenience, like if I can remain on my family plan and get a good upgrade price. I can wait another few weeks after the N1 is released if I know a definitive date.

For all of you worried about the dual core 1.5 GHz processor running Android, it is a netbook. Or, if it was a phone, I would happily wait with you five years once we have the technology to do that.

Now, I know how people are on this forum. That was sarcasm, so I don't want to hear any comments about how technology is moving super fast. Glad I could end something before it started.

The Verizon rep e-mailed me back and said several devices were in testing...This leads me to believe there are. I copied and pasted the e-mail from her like 4 or 5 pages back..

Ummm, don't know in if this has been on more recent phones, but my XV6900 has notification lights under the earpiece/speaker grille. Could that just be the backside of a similar light?

EDIT: Or maybe it's just a bit of metal reflecting light

Maybe a port of some kind??

If the N1 is in store and the Incredible stays all red and is thick and heavy I'll go N1 or Eris... N1 haha. I am a little worred about the N1 screens... Apparently them *hits are breaking easily..

Everyone has their opinion on the phone... personally i REALLY hope the back is Red, it's just different and glossy and what not...it stands out. I don't think i'd be interested in the phone if it's just boring old black.

If they make swappable battery covers obviously that would be a smart move (more money via accessories)... i just want some official words and/or pics related to this thing!

It's probably the thin design of the N1 that leads to the screen cracking/breaking. No support from the frame means any pressure anywhere on the edge will break, crack or shift it.

I plan on reinforcing it with painted popsicle sticks and duct tape. Duct tape solves everything.
