Root [ROM] GingerSteem Extreme II for the LG Esteem MS910

well look.. no offense but if your gonna go through the trouble of rooting why not just update to the big thing everyone else is on (ZVD) i seriously reccomend it.. so far we have a stable fast rom and im sure pg will have a nice kernel for you guys reall soon, untill then im sure you can be a lil patient and just try out zvd to see how you like it :D

anyone who is developing anything for the esteem right now is most likely working on zvd releases now that we have the tools needed :D just a matter of time..

PG hasnt had any issues running GSEII 1.0 on ZVD! ;)
 
So basically nobody has had any problems using other roms, kernels, themed, etc that was made for ZV? On ZV?(Question mark stands for b, c, or d) cause I want to flash homeless kennel on ZVC

Nobody:confused: Many have problems
Every phone is different...Homeless on ZVC should be fine.:)
Plague 2.2 on my ZVD didn't fair very well:(

well some people still experience the reboot issue with c & b roms whether you upgraded to d or not, so it is reccomended that you use D, you dont need internet on phone, just pc to upgrade..

PlayfulGod i thought you didn't have the reboot issue to begin with? so it makes sense your having no issues lol

Well what I mean is that I have no wifi :/
 
Btw great ROM, thanks PG. Has anyone had a problem with false notifications. I keep getting a voicemail notification on the status bar and when i select to call it im prompted that i no messages.

GseII on zvd is the only thing that saved my ass, I had weird issues going on an a constant reboot problem on stock an the other ld lg rom for zvd. Random reboots, phone plug reboots(soon as i plug in the charger it would just reboot), things happening that never happened when i was on zvd. An GSE II on top of ZVD stopped all of that! THANKS!
