Root [ROM][BOOST/SPRINT][ZVC]Marky Beats v2 beta[updated 7/30]

Just wanted to see if there was any news about the Bluetooth issue? It would make things easier to transfer from Phone to PC and vice-versa. No rush or anything, just wondered if you may have figured it out.

(Off subject for a second, but was wondering how to make a hyperlink on this forum.. Not sure if I am typing in the code incorrectly or if you just can't have hyperlinks on this forum.. Example Below:

can someone post a video on like youtube doing this because im not completely sure how to do this and when i use rom manager for clockworkmod it says there hasnt been one released for the marquee help?
 
hujon first of all what are u confused on? second of all is there anything wrong with your phone now? if so whats wrong with it?
 
theres nothing wrong with it and im not sure how to flash roms i know the instructions are there but id feel more comfortable doing it if i saw someone else do it
 
hujon dude stick with stock on this phone tell u have more choices of roms avalable this is the only rom that i know of avalable for this phone right now
 
Tried this rom. The added features I like. But here's the few issues I've noticed with it: (I installed the LITE version)

1. Half the hidden menu codes I've tried thus far that did work on stock no longer work. Important ones like ##PORT# and 3845#*855# no longer work. (so loss of Debug mode is the first thing I would run into) Though some like ##DATA# still do, so something really odd is going on here....

I haven't yet tried some of the ones that didn't work before, but those are the first two I noticed that stopped working after upgrading to this rom.

2. The color scheme of the dialogs and stuff....not fan. No offense, but the blue ICS theme doesn't get along with me. :(


I'm curious if this phone would actually roam now with the added roam menu and such.

Since this is one of the very few custom roms out, I can live with the color scheme but the loss of the hidden menu codes will keep me away from this one once I get my new fully working Marquee. :(
 
Debug mode? You mean diagnostic mode? to use cdma or qpst? Try with phone in recovery.

As for the colors, I can post the stock framework

And boost won't allow roaming regardless

Recovery mode doesn't get me DM mode since QPST won't see it. Unless only stock recovery puts the phone in DM mode? Perhaps it's just another odd quirk from this messed up phone. Will probably know for sure when the new one comes.

The stock color scheme would be a good option. Perhaps add it to the lite version or make a third version. Which ever you think would be best.

idk why but when i enable my bluetooth my phone becomes unresponsive.. cant make any calls and to open apps it takes a while to open, and it only happens when i enable bluetooth.

Bluetooth has been an issue since the beginning, as far as I know |Monster| is working on it and I am sure we will see a fix in a following update at some point.
 
I tried this with that original framework update and really liking it. ##PORT# hidden menu code still didn't work but the 3845#*855# code did. Odd since it didn't work in the version with the custom color scheme...

If you can find a way of fixing the missing hidden menu codes then this will be perfect. :D
 
Updated to version 1.2 (link in first post)

made some visual changes and app updates

I couldnt fix bluetooth with a hotfix, so you have to install the whole rom. U WILL LOSE APP/USER DATA
