just curious as to why the beats audio logo only appears for the music app that comes with ur rom but not any other android music player? i thought beats audio was implemented in the phone another question i have is why are peoples screenshots themed differently then mine for example the "wifi" icon in the screenshot is sideways bars but on mine its a circle ?

Beats Audio Icon I have noticed worked with my Google Play Music, The Stock Music Player, as well as when I did use PowerAmp player. (I am not sure but I do not think it is used when using Pandora Internet Radio). As for the icon.. Depends on what version of the ROM you are using. The stock Gingerbread had the Vertical Green Lines for WiFi, Marky Beats v1.1 I believe kept the stock icons until the hotfix which changed them to what it sounds like you have the circle WiFi Icon. MB v1.1.21 kept the same as the hotfix. Then in the latest release of MB v1.2 he had changed the icons to the blue vertical icon.

i modified play music to include the beats logo, i could add it to any other ones i want but after an update it will go back to normal.

The beats audio DRIVERS are implemented in the rom. I added the logo because on the original beats HTC phones it would show up ONLY when you plugged in a pair of beats headphones.

My modified app can be used on any other phone it just needs to be my apk and not another.

U have the old icons because either, you didnt update the new version, didnt clear cache or data, or tried installing the crt mod meant for the old version
 
i actualy realized im using mb lite which i dont know the differences or advantages of using the original but goodwork on both roms i wish i could contribute to the android community and i must admit i wasnt feeling it at first and asked for a stock cwm back up ever since i downloaded it tho i havent found a urge to change back but if the non lite version is the only one with bluetooth working and updates im going to install this tonight

There was a Bluetooth Hotfix, which was intended for MB v1.1.21 and/or MB v1.2. Though could work with MB Lite. Not 100% on that will have to ask |Monster|. Either way I am sure if it doesn't work on MB Lite, at some point he will fix it and update MB Lite. (That is if you would rather have MB Lite. You could install MB v1.2 and debloat it more yourself to get it close to the MB Lite ROM.)
 
yeah i think im gonna just debloat myself i just dont understand how the lite version was meant for performance yet i get lower scores on benchmarks then i did on the stock rom

performance as in user experience, not by testing the phones limits. But by ease of access, lag, phone memory, that sort of thing.

I will update the lite version within the next day
 
So does this ROM just give the phone a different look OR does it tweak it as well. My main concern is speed. IF it speeds it up, then I am all about it. The responsiveness on this device is terrible imo. I wish that would be fixed by an update put out by LG....so my main concerns are actual speed and responsiveness. If this ROM just adds a different look that is fine too..just curious as someone asked and nobody answered him.

This rom seems snappier to me than stock. Real nice ui! Love the integrated wifi hotspot! Very happy with it so far.

im sorry if i sound kind of whiney but can someone post a simple way to install this rom a video would be greatly appreciated im so used to jailbreaking mods on iphone this android stuff is so different

Which part is confusing you? Are you rooted? Do you have CWM installed, if so have you made a nandroid backup with it?
 
ZVC version added for Boost in first post. bluetooth is having issues and mms is the same situation (change server)
 
Tried the ZVC version of Murky Beats...Appears to have Sprint framework. On activation screen it dials *2 in the background and I hear Sprint's support line. Shutdown logo is also sprint. Didn't see any profile update errors come up, but activation hangs and update profile also fails when done manually from the menu (though it did not display an error. It just went away after awhile and the phone menu froze and went to notification bar and gone to the equilizer to escape out of the frozen menu......did something go wrong?
 
Well there's the problem. Base band starts with the string "LS855ZVC" LS means it's the Sprint's baseband...wtf?

I also read phone into QPST, the Display name in the roam menu (there are duplicate versions in other tabs) where the "NAM Name" had read "Boost Mobile" before and after I installed Murky Beats ZVC version, it now shows as "Sprint".

Is that normal?

U should/must always be running stock rom when activating a phone. Custom ones can have those issues especially cyanogen mod

Is a ZVC based Sprint rom coming? I'm looking to flash the current sprint release but will hold off if its on the way. Thanks Monster!
