ICS for us! Confirmed

I like the 3.0 lockscreen.

No root needed to use widgetlocker and or magiclocker home screen replacement apps on the market.

They both have sense 3.0 style themes and I'm sure on the store they also have 3.6 and 4.0 based screens too...

Does using the shortcuts always bypass the unlock pattern/pin?
I really don't like that.
Defeats the use of them if you ask me, it functions like this on magiclocker with the sense 3.0 theme, fail.

I'm thinking we'll be seeing ICS sometime in the very near future. Last night, I had 6 "Verizon" application updates pushed to my phone, including Blockbuster for HTC and Google Street View, which weren't previously part of Big Reds standard bloatware.

Hoping this is a sign of good things to come in the near future!

I get the same updates off and on. I always ignore them of course. But sometimes I'll have 6 pending, then other times I'll have 11.

Yeah, all my apps have been updating like crazy. A week or so ago I had 11 apps update one day, and 8 the next. Crazy.

What the best way to prepare for the ICS update?

From what I have read you should uninstall any home replacement app (Go launcher, Launcher pro)/set hTC sense as default home.
Also uninstall/stop from running any type of anti virus/security apps like Lookout before applying the update.

Make sure you have at least a 90% charge.
Anything else coming from a stock standpoint?
I am ready for ICS! ;)

Yeah, I have heard that apple products force you to do that so you don't fry your device while updating, power down in the middle of the process, bricking your device.
So,i guess updating while charging/connected to the charger doesn't hurt anything, huh?

Yes it would!!!
That would pretty much fry your phone!!!

Who's ready to see a screen similar to this on their Incredible 2?

See what the text on the screen shows about charging?

*raises hand* :)
