Edit: You said that you wanted to hunt some bugs so I'm gonna post what I find.

Just tried to change some things in the status bar. Nothing would change . Battery to %, clock, etc. . Also have noticed that wifi will not connect sometimes. A reboot usually solves the problem.

I want to thank everybody for the feedback so far. Seems pretty solid as a whole from what im gathering but there are several lines that need changed to work out the quarks. Im thinking next release within next 24 to 48 hours. We can make it formal at that point with a new shiny thread and what not. Im pleased to hear yall are feeling the miui. Make sure you give a extra thanks to hroark, bloodawn,kouma , and all the other devs who have taken the phone touchwiz has forsaken to the level it is today. also shoot over to [ROM]MIUI 2.3.7 Release4 4.14.2012 ZVD - Android Forums at AndroidCentral.com and thank invincible madness for all his hard work as well..keep the bugs rolling in guys and thanks again
 
Nevermind Solved it: I formatted sd-ext and made sure /system and /data were mounted after formatting them all

OK has anyone encountered the "android.process.acore" FC screen yet??
I'm gonna re d/l in case it got corrupted

its a sync error i believe..try wipeing cache files in anything that uses sync(contacts, contact storage, calader) under manage apps..let me know if that works
 
Well I'm always down to try new things so HOOK ME UP... lol... I'll be a tester for ya... I've got a full weekend of free time... oh OH YEAH... :)...

I'm on my second day with MIUI and liking it more and more. It is very responsive and I've only had a few force closes, they are all known problems. I have yet to start testing themes. I wanted to get a feel of stock ROM first.

Thanks again guys for letting us give it a test drive. :D


EDIT: I used Handcent and the selected Simple Split. Works fine.

I'm also getting a force close with the anit-theft app Seek Droid. I've tried everything and just can't get it to run after activation . Funny things is that it let me install and activate but now I can't get it to open. I'll continue to test and report my findings. Thanks again.:)

Hmmm.That is true, technically speaking. It's just that probably 99% of the people that have CWM have rooted phones already. That is what I based my comment on ( the 99 percentile ). I'll revise my post to correct that. :p:p

Also, is there a known version of Flash that will work with this ROM? Tried 10.2 and it wouldn't work.

EDIT: Bugs
Found a few more bugs. Desktop transitions will not change, Device settings crashes when tapped and text cannot be read in the Beautiful Widgets app. It's there and can be seen when the screen is tapped but very hard to select options because it disappears as soon as I remove my finger from the screen. That's pretty much all I've found except for all of the status bar tweaks (battery,signal,etc)not changing. I mentioned that earlier though. Other than that, it looks like most everything else is working so far.
