Root N64 roms very slow. Is there a fix?

On my Evo4g i have a PS1 emulator, super Nintendo, Nintendo, GBA, GBC, and N64. All roms on my phone run very fast and never lag, EXCEPT, N64.. those are what some of my favorite games are on and every single N64 rom on the phone runs very very slow. they work fine, but are extremely laggy. Is there a way to correct this problem? Even the PS1 games run fast, but the N64 refuses to stop lagging and ruining my games. Its not the emulator either because i have tried probably 4 or 5 different ones. they all work but are still just as laggy. Is the problem that my phone just isn't powerful enough? I mean it's and Evo4g, seems powerful enough for every other emulator, including PS1:(:(:(:(:(:(:(

try and overclock your phone and maybe even wiping dalvik cache and cache.

perhaps a un and reinstall of the emulator. also check out what all is running in the background. the emulator might be taking up much more space than other apps youre not experiencing lagging issues with. oh, and always wipe the caches (but make sure you wipe back to front, otherwise you might run the risk of infections LoL)

:D I just did some overclocking like one of you told me too, and it worked fine!! :D Thanks for the help, i didnt know about overclocking before. Thank you for introducing me to the concept, my phone overall runs faster now and also the emulator runs fine now too .

Good to see the guys fixed you up with some great overclocking advice :).

Just wanted to let you know that I've removed the reference to the site you included in your above post. They've got a bad rep for providing paid apps for free which is a bit frowned-upon around here ;).

Cheers!

I have been playing Zelda Ocarina of Time Master Quest, Banjo-Kazooie, and Super Mario 64 mostly. But i play like tons of N64 games. It is by far my favorite game system ever made by Nintendo.
