Help Micromax A70 General FAQ and Discussion

Previously my tata docomo net speed on 2g was sufficient..Now suddenly it has slowed down a lot..Is it becoz i have installed a custom rom(Hybrid 3) or is it a network problem??I have installed the ICS theme on hybrid..
 
hey my hybrid v3 is working very slow, have to reboot it after sometime to make it work smoothly..need suggestions..cant reflash it cause I cant restore my app via titanium backup..

Try these apps...
1) Fast Reboot: Stops n Restarts all running services
2) Quick Boot: Allows to reboot device, reboot into recovery/fastboot modes n if u buy that app it also allows Hot Reboot
3) Hot Reboot: Restarts Android UI,does not actually reboots the device.(does not work for me though,worked once only)
4) Link2SD: If u r using Link2SD then it has option of Quick Reboot which is actually hot reboot.
 
nt a problem as i think install task manager from android market..........go to setting set show system tasks..............and set auto kill at evry screen off......

can you guys confirm if the plastic button on the physical home is available in the service centre... coz it is not available in chennai anywhere???
 
Hello,

I have some .apk files in the Download folder, when I try to share this files only three option are available in "Select an action" like Drive, Dropbox and Gmail the option Bluetooth is not coming.

But when other files are shared then all the option are available.

Somebody please guide me.

Two options
1) rename file.apk to file.xx and try to share

2)use Bluetooth file transfer application from market
 
Can any one upload the stock ''framework-res.apk'' I need it.

and @ Varun - I'm getting errors in decompiling your framework . I'hve tried through ubuntu and apktool
 
The new benchmark app is updated and states that it now gives real time benchmarks as it takes more time to test ..

but sad and real deal is that now m getting 500-600
 
My a70's soft keys vibration went kinda low last night! i dont know what happened but the phones vibration is working all fine! the haptic feedback is ticked in the sound setting! i tried deleting the cache still no use please help me out in this! :|
 
@vijay bhaskar - I had already mentioned a funny but working trick to this somewhere on the forum....but as you are new

1) Hold your phone tighty from sides with one hand
2) Tilt your phone backwards
3) With the other hand Just slap your phone 3-4 times check the Vibration

IT WILL SURELY WORK

As soon as i do this! the soft keys vibration works fine but after and half an hour it comes back to the same old weak vibration! :( i need something permanent! :(
 
friends i had problem with my stock rom about wifi signals it worked only about 8 feets,
as per instruction i installed custom rom leandros 2 and it improved a bit now about 12feet. but signal is still too weak .

what must i do to increase wifi signals.are there any tweaks helpful for this.

When I edit some of the contacts A70 is displaying as Phone-only (unsynced), while as some are showing Google contact xxxxx@gmail.com

How can I make all the contacts to showing as Google contact xxxxxxx@gmail.com.

Please note: The contact are not synced with my gmail account and I don't want to sync it.

can we replace icon's from apk by 7zip and sign it with some signer from market...will icon replaced apps work...there is any simple method

i know there is application apkedit0.4 but it needs java and .NET framework and i am using 2g connection so it is not possible to download them....

Should work by using 7zip and there should be no need of signing.

My vibration works vry well....and if tms it doesn't work then, I tilt my phone towards the ground and bang it wid my finger....
Make sure u bang from the right side....(the side wid the volumerocker& camera button)
It always works for me.....:):rolleyes:
 
Dear Sam Sir,
I am not that tech savvy. Please take time to instruct me step by step. I have d/l the file from 4shared. copied entire folder to SD card.I found one .apk file in system folder.I donno what to do next. Will you please help me? I think I am bothering you amidst your hectic schedules, Please take time to explain me.Thanks in advance.I sometime envey you guys! hahaha:p who understand these tweaks so easily!!
