Help Micromax A70 General FAQ and Discussion

Hey guys pls tell me whr to download z4root from or pls mail it to me as the one on xda has a trojan in it and my kaspersky antivirus is not letting me download it....Pls help

Oops its not any pc app
its a apk and any antivirus wil not report apk as infected :p
u must be downloading the wrong stuff use some one from 4shared.com
 
Hello guys,

Just rooted my A70, installed titanium backup, removed the unwanted apps but the background light of the buttons Home Key, Menu key, Search Key, Back to Home key is always on.

Normally it is on while charging the phone and blinking while browsing the net,

Please help

I couldn't fastboot...my driver didn't install...I am using windows07...can ne1 provide me link for d driver???? ne help is appreciated

Well I have mentioned solution at other thread where u asked...don't remember now.
fastboot drivers need to be downloaded from windows update..i tried on my newly installed win7 n it downloaded fastboot drivers from windows update...
N for others concern(if there is any), after installing drivers it showed ASUS Android Bootloader Interface..
 
hey frndz.. help me plz..
i'm unable to boot my A70 in recovery mode.... tried by pressing power+vol. down button and thru rom manager too...
earlier i was able to boot but the problem occur after updating the clockworld mod recovery in rom manager...

Flash the recovery again...
If that not help then flash recovery via fastboot method..there is a tutorial in all-things-root section for the same.
 
i am in stock rom...i have init.d facility thanks to mastermind...but i want to use some scripts(not much but few good1s) that improves my a70 performance...plz give me some good scripts...i have to paste them in init.d & change d permission,correct???????
 
@MASTERMIND...hey buddy i need ur help...i had restored my earlier nandroid backup,so d inid.d was gone...so i again fastboot ur boot.img,fastboot was succesfull but now i dont find init.d(sysytem/etc/init.d) :eek::eek::eek::confused::confused::confused:
again i fastboot but same result...did factory reset,again fastboot but no init.d...what shoild i do?:confused:

When u restore stock nandroid, there will not be init.d support in boot.img plus there won't be init.d folder(/system/etc/init.d)....
Don't panic...just flash my boot.img via fastboot(that u have done) n then open Root Explorer n go to /system/etc...then create a New Folder n name it init.d...u r done...now place ur scripts in this folder n they will work for sure..
 
thanks mastermind,can u recommend me some gud scripts???initially after boot I have 80+ ram but later after few hours of use I have only 60+ free ram...ne help????

I was going through a tutorial posed in xda about v6 supercharger,it was stated there it need cm7...I am posting d link

d procedure was also little complicated than other scripts...is it d only way to use this script??? or there is any simple way...can u tell me d procedure????

after connecting usb to computer, in notification pannel usb connected option comes,where we have to connect d usb...if that option is not coming check ur sd card whether it is mounted or not(if mounted, unmount then again mount),u can also try other sd card...or reflash ur rom or stock rom, it may help u....
 
hey guys try notification toggle app...using this app u can change ur notification panel similar to Samsung mobiles,customize ur notification pannel,dis app is helpful... :)
