Root [MOD] LG Esteem 720p @ 30FPS (UPDATED 9/5/12)

Martin did yu change yur theme after bandit still work scuzzy ill flash it to get cam mod but doblnt wanna keep the red theme. Love blue big F's to red
 
Man I want this mod to work... the one thing I don't like about our phone is the poor video, and I had really big hopes for this working.

Something seems odd about the way the cam is integrated into the ROM on this phone;
When I tried to get this mod to work (and failed - time after time), I tried to flash the cameramod undo, which didn't work - same thing... "unable to extract frame".
Then I tried to re-install the original cameraapp.apk that I moved onto my extsd, and it didn't work either. Not even the original apk that came with this ROM would work!

To get the video camera working again I had to do a CWM restore.

Hope this info helps the trouble-shooting process for someone, because it's got me stumped big time.

I flashed the undo mod and it worked just fine for me. Usually i don't waste time flashing when u can just copy and paste the apk to system apps and then reboot. Never fails. Never had to run a backup thought to install an app. That's strange
 
pushed over commander, used rtb, used root eplorer, wipe dalvik and cache, wiped data, installed stock mod, number 2, plague, number of kernels.... still the same thing for me too, 'unable to extract frame'..... grrr

That's exactly what I've tried. Every damn resource I can think of. I couldn't make this thing work If my life depended on it.
 
I got it to work I can't believe it.this is what I did. I redownloaded the apk not the zip. Extracted copy and pasted. Went to application manager and camera and cleared all data then rebooted.and boom its kinda weird it was that simple but it did it. And no more "unable to extract frame rate error" hope it works for yall

not sure but some themes seem to get it and sometimes not many ppl have gotten it to work in their way one thing thts hard to find out is why is it tht it works on some ppl nd the rest cant get i working

Yeah I've tried it like 10 times with no luck lol
 
I dont know if it would do any good or not but you guys know there is a build.prop supposedly for this. Maybe adding it in too would help? I have done MUCH testing it will not work by itself though. I doubt it will help but who knows? Wouldnt it be nice if it was just something simple like that for once! :)

have you tryed to add that line in your build.prop yet?
