Simple math to me. Let's say the Oakley's cost $100 (just to use a round number) and the Walmart brand costs $10. Let's say the Wal-mart brand lasts only 6 months. I can replace it ten times for the cost of the Oakley's. So the Oakleys need to last me 5 years just to break even on the cost.
so you'd rather use an inferior product for 5 years? and for half of the 5 years, you're suffering because the walmart glasses are falling apart during its EOL.
on something trivial, like knockoff bags for girls, I can kinda understand.
but sunglasses are not just about style. do you know if the lenses on the walmart glasses are certified for UV protection?
made me want to get it directly from Google... and I have a feeling Google will ship them before B&H will have a chance to.
