Root Best way to have battery life?

What's the best way to get a good battery life with good performance on this Optimus V? On quattrimus I could set min 480 max 806 and use INTERACTIVEX and get good battery life, but on BACKside this setting kills it twice as fast....went from 100% to 90% in 10 minutes while browsing the forums on WiFi :eek: and my brightness is all the way down....
 
480-768 give or take a setting either way on the max depending on your CPU. Best Governor would be InteractiveX.
If still having battery drain issues make sure you don't have an app trying to "phone home" to much or is causing a wake lock.

No apps like that....hmm :/ good thing I have 2 batteries :p but one of them didn't charge last night :eek: a loose outlet is to blame...

I guess I'll have to restore quattrimus, I still haven't edited the apn for metropcs so MMS could work....or maybe I just have to let it synch in a couple days like Jerry said..
 
My phone is set 480min. 806max interactive x. I took my phone off charger 4:30 am, had a few phone calls,couple texts. I got home at 2:30 pm after work 3g off all day phone at 99%. I been on forums about 45minutes battery reads 78% at 3:30 pm THAT'S TERRIBLE!!!

So data kills our batteries ... :( that's a problem because the main thing I use is data...
 
Data definitely kills the battery. Turn everything off when not using it. Turn screen brightness down as far as you can and still see the screen. Download "Periodic Auto Sync" set to once every 4hours, and only for 1 minute.
This should help.
