Galaxy Nexus Watering Hole

You don't have enough tabs open. I have around 15. LOL

I usually have 2-3 browsers open with several tabs in each. Depends on what I am doing.

I'm actually kind of behind on AF this week as I have to compress 8 hours of work into 4 hours.

Usually have more, but I'm messing with the N7 at the moment and setting it up. :D
I just love when I have to hand over the laptop to the wife and she sees I have a gazillion tabs open and she just freaks out! :p

So explain this. I have determined that I CAN get 4G at my desk, as long as I follow this procedure: Go outside, toggle LTE to CDMA to LTE, make sure I have an LTE signal. Turn on Pandora, and take my usual lap around the complex. Go back to my desk, and place in a specific spot on my desk and leave it unplugged. It will hold 4G the entire time. But if I move it elsewhere on my desk, or even plug it in, gone. Every time.

Guess what I'm up to :D

Here we go! FCC orders Verizon to stop blocking tethering apps, reaches $1.25 million settlement

So anyone want to guess what other apps will probably be allowed?

cough cough Google Wallet ;)

Whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa!

Okay, where's Hansolo when you need a lawyer? I read this as "Hey Chief, tether away because Verizon can't do a thing about it"! HOWEVER:

That last line that reads "The FCC, however, has not limited Verizon’s right to charge customers on unlimited data plans additional fees for tethering" concerns me.

Does that mean that Verizon can still bust those of us on unlimited data, and unlimited data ONLY? Will they not fine use or make us pay fees, but merely kick us out of unlimited for tethering? What does this article actually SAY to us?

Good morning - happy hump day.

Back in the office today so should be a bit more active. Was very quiet in here yesterday. Let's get the party started, woo woo.

Anyone upgrade to JB 5.1 yet? I think I may do it tonight just to be on the latest and greatest.

Are there some "new" features to it that justify the price?
Morning everyone!

If you pre-ordered a Q, you got it for free because Google messed up.

I wish I had preordered....oh well.

I have been running JellyBelly 5.1, getting great battery life about 4.5hrs screen on, with stock battery and kernel, and on 4g most of the day...much better reception with these new Jellys...

Happy Hump day everyone...
The biggest news is that it is August first, so the wedding is less than 2 months away...invitations are finally being finished tonight..as long as the printer cooperates....and my suit fitting this Saturday.
That, and my first home brew batch is ready for drinking...going to test that tonight....

That is a ton of good news - good luck with everything.

What did you end up brewing?

Oh yeah, August 1st means by birthday is in 20 (well technically 19) days!
