Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

I have removed each script one at a time, wiped the caches, and did multiple reboots as well as power downs... Still no luck. I even removed readahead as well as the swap script.

It kind of seems like there is a communication glitch/issue between Settings and the Notification Toggles. I am stumped as to what could be causing it.

I also appreciated your fast response to my problem Mr. Bobo. You surely care about your ROM users. I will probably reflash my Warp again with your ROM and the Update and restart the process. Just hoping it isn't an actual fault with my Warp.

It's not hardware, it's software somehow, I am going to remove a couple scripts with my next update. This has been a recurring issue (not on my ROM until V) on different ROMs. Wait a little for my next update and then do a full re-install. I think I will make the next update an update zip as well as update the full install zip to make it easier to start up from scratch for people wanting a clean new install.

Did you do a full clean install of the noobv_i including the factory restore. What exactly happens after you do run your script.

I always do a full clean install when I do a update. This helps prevent any potential issues that might happen. As far as I know, I am only installing the zip files provided from Mr. Bobo. Everything seems to install fine when I am in CWM.

You said you backed up your unit....hehehehaha Ok that's my documented stupidity of the day
yeah, I don't get it but, anyway. I restore everything after that and now my phone look exactly like it did before installing the rom. I lost all the noob rom settings. I didn't want that. I just wanted to restore my data, messages, phone logs, etc. Should I reflash the rom?

So you still have cwm? If so, yes, go ahead and reflash the Rom and boot up. You should then have the Rom. It sounds like when you restored you accidentally restored to stock. Not a big deal if so. When you flash the Rom just do install from sd and find the n00b zip file.

I think I got it. I reflashed the rom then in cmw I did restore, advanced restore and I restored the cache and data. That seem to do it. I got all my messages, call logs, contacts and apps back.

My phone does that sometimes too and I haven't pin pointed yet what's causing it or the powering off with the steady red light.

Same here! It is so weird. Sometimes it holds the charge fine others I feel it is draining fast without me doing much.... I'm still trying to pinpoint what it could be. Apparnently, something is running in the background without me knowing it. Maybe the Phandroid System App. LOL

My phone is having very good battery but I froze Phandroid, never used.

Yea don't restore your data...

What's probably happening is your.restoring system app data which ( is the point of why you wipe data b4 flashing a Rom). Do not restore data for the system or you can expect problems..

And the truth is you can expect problems sometimes after restoring user app data as well so I try to avoid that too.:)...

All data is kept in the system.. So only restore data for the apps that you absolutely must... But if you go mass restoring data you should expect issues and have no idea which data restored did it because you restored so much

Cant wait for the update lol I did a fresh install 6 days ago and replaced the build.prop with the one from n00bology v1.0, I noticed when i was running that rom, i had no 3g-wifi issues, so I replaced it on noobv and boom, no issues at all, no toggle issues, no wifi-3g issues, not one burp in 6 days. Been testing it going out of wifi range and vas versa, it switches over no problem, love to see a OC kernal in the next update lol...Love this rom.......;)
