I'd like to think that I'm trusted pretty well, but I wouldn't want to "Pass Along" any second hand information, because I can't know that it's reliable.

So if, for some reason, even at no fault of the one who provided me information was wrong, I would get blamed and would lose credibility.


It's best to get the information from as close to the source as possible.

150,000+ Incredibles in the Verizon Warehouse
Just like the title of this post states, there are 150,000+ Incredibles (SKU: ADR6300VW) in the Verizon warehouse as of today 03/31.

None are slated to ship to stores this week, but I assure you they are there.

Looks like they're bound to launch this month.
 
Nothin we havent heard before....but i called 7 stores here in Phoenix, AZ. Two knew nothing, but the rest all said that they have heard about it or there managers have mentioned the new htc phone. Three said by end of april it will be released. One said he heard in May from his boss. The last one didnt know but said soon since managers are talking about it. Im thinking that the managers know, and the cool ones say things to their employees and the sttict ones dont so thats why some know. At least the 5 admitted it does exist. I heard of ppl calling but wanted to hear for myself. Its reassuring at least. I dont feel hopeless. One actually said that the "specs are awesome, keep waiting, itll be worth it." Maybe the managers have a spec sheet or something? Its dumb to call cust service b/c they record it....but the stores will leak more info!

NKT, you seem to have warehouse knowledge, and said your last update was the 29th.....Did you get the 31st update yet?

I don't know for sure, but I would guess that if we called them liars and demanded cold hard proof right away, they might've said. "Screw those guys, what do I have to prove to them. I'll keep this info to myself."

All I'm really saying is BE FRIENDLY, this thread has been amazingly different from many that I've seen in the past, and I think it's based on being nice to one another.

It was before i got here, but from what i've read, this board did ask for proof. I think they both gave us new pictures as proof and since providing them we have trusted them. We're being forced to wade through a ton of garbage looking for new information about this phone and there is nothing wrong with questioning someone's source.

Id also like to add that asking someone for a reason to believe their story is different then calling them a liar.

That's exactly how I am, but my source is extremely lax when it comes to getting information for me.
 
Seems the guy is coming out of the blue. It's his first thread/post ever.

I hope hes reliable. I really want these things to come.

Anyone know the pattern of how long it takes for the phone to be in warehouses to then shipping out to VZW stores??

So honestly the snapdragon is the superior chip. Now how long will it take for developers to take full advantage of that hardware is the real question in my mind.

Here, you make mention of a GPU (Imageon) for the Snapdragon (Incredible). Is this "GPU" integrated with the CPU? This post seems contradictory to the previous information and I'm just trying to understand whether the Snapdragon is in fact better or worse in some applications.

From my understanding. The Snapdragon performs worse in 3D application compared to the iPhone 3GS. I think it's limited to developers though, those developing for the iPhone 3GS of course utilizing the hardware better.

The thing is, DROID still performs worse than Snapdragon while having nearly identical specs to the iPhone 3GS.

Of course, there are many things we can't factor in. iPhone 3GS has a lower resolution than the Nexus One Snapdragon. So snapdragon may as well be better overall.

My memory is kinda spotty but the only guys i can remember providing us with any new information (and also providing some proof to back it up) are NKT, Stericson, Apang, and Kcoan.

Edit: Add pewpewbangbang to that list.
