[Verizon] [rom]jbsourcery v5.4-lte[06/07/13] jb4.2.2 The Final Call

When installing through ROM manager it formats data then starts the installation. Then a few moments later the red triangle comes up on the little android guy and it says installation has been aborted do you wish to reboot. So then I restore my back up to 2.3 which I love by the way. I tried the release out before 2.3.6 and it installed I just went back to my 2.3 version. Then decided yesterday to try 2.3.6. Thanks.
 
install through recovery. we have seen this by a couple people through rommanger and the same zip installed fine through recovery.
 
Installed 2.3.6. I finally got it through recovery. Thanks. However I could not get the weather to work on it so I went back to 2.3 which works great.
 
nope, same one. you have to set the weather before it will work.

In the weather options, top right is a "Get Weather" button. It basically turns it on once you have the options selected
 
Small issue that I'm not sure if it's ROM specific;

When I hit the recent apps button, a lot of times (probably at least half of the time) when I click on an app to return to it, the menu just goes away as if I hit the back button. Then on the second attempt when I click on the app to return to it, it will respond normally and select it as it's supposed to. I know it registers my input when I click on the app window, because it goes away, but it doesn't register as if I clicked on the app. Very weird, IMO.
 
2.3.6 is running perfectly on my phone. Matched with Franco 282 it is butter. Was getting a lot of boot loops when modding on 2.3 that all seem to be fixed now. Just amazed at the options in this ROM.

So no one else has experienced this?
 
So there i was flashing 2.3.6 in the car...then it was my turn to drive so i couldn't pay with it...this thing is great!! Tons of options!! I love it. Just wondering..Will a theme choose theme trump any mms settings i apply?

you have to install the addon pack to get the effects.

the mms app is set up for theme engine so its possible. i just havent tested it will se tommorow if you havent answered this for us already.
