Root [Boost Mobile] [ROM] n00b (B10 based) VIII.II FULL Install 1/23/2013

You know that thing is always in my way too lol Funny you mention it. It always starts hovering over my W so I have to press space bar to get it outta the way. Never seen it point down in any Rom so if mrbobo pulls it off it will be a coup haha

He would have to decompile the apk for the keyboard and adjust it there.
 
I just edited the text cursors by modifying the framework files using ninjamorph. Here are some screenshots:

Using stock n00b VI
- Make backup!!!!!!!
- Download ninjamorph from the play store
- Download the file at my dropbox http://dl.dropbox.com/u/96404070/framework-resapk.zip
- Unzip the file and put the folder in /sdcard/AndroidThemes/workspace/
- Open ninjamorph, click finish project and select the folder that you just unzipped.
- Don't optimize
- Restart. Enjoy :)
 
I dont know if anyone else mentioned this but, my camera has been asking up ever this install. First, I used to be able to set the flash for video recording and I can't do that anymore. Secondly, it takes dark pictures outside in broad daylight. Lastly, it just be completely dark and even takes the pictures that way, resulting in a completely black pic.

Have you tried any other cam apps? It would be beneficial in knowing if it's the app you're using acting up or something else. I run camera ICS+ and don't have the problem if that helps. The free version works as well. Have you fixed permissions? Also, I sometimes clear my cache's as well so it rebuilds them. It's actually cleared problems up for me as well.

Hahaha, thanks! It would totally be awesome if it was included! But if Mr. Bobo can improve on it and make it look even more awesome, then that would surely be awesome.

Hey all. Just received my 4000 mah battery. Tho it will not charge over 84% any one ever heard oof this. Running noob and wiped battery stats 3 times already. At. Dead end. When I reboot the warp the batter will dasplay different levels each time. Never more always less. Please help. thanks.
 
Run it all the way down until it dies on ya. Charge until full preferably at night while you sleep to ensure ample time. I've had this happen before and what I did so should work. Upon waking, immediately open recovery and wipe battery stats. Let me know how goes please?

Charge it at AC, do not use an usb-pc connection because a usb connection have less power.
 
Thanks guys. Was just weird how it would only charge 2 84 percent after over 15 he's on charge. Pulled battery rebooted to recovery. Wiped stats. Rebooted. Phone said 52 percent. Plugged in to wall. And let it charge to 100. Working on killing the battery. Have had multiple extended batteries for evo 4g, marquee now warp. Never encountered this. But no 2 phones are alike. But I think I got it. Glad it wasn't the rom. Interfereing with the huge battery.

I have not tried any other cam app, just the one from the rom.

Perhaps the camera app just isn't cutting it. It kinda sounds like your cam hardware might be giving out but the best way to find out would be to try a couple of other different cam apps. If they work fine then the Rom app just might not jive well with your phone. If they too are bad, unfortunately and IMHO, it's a hardware issue since nobody else has mentioned this particular problem with the ROM. My fingers are crossed for it being the app and your phone not liking one another.

funny you should ask, I just had a similar request... I don't have a zip, but here's what you need to pull, you can get the files from my ROM zip:

/system/framework/android.policy.jar
/system/framework/framework-res.apk
/system/bin/screenshot
/system/app/Screenshot.apk

screenshot in bin needs special permissions:

Owner: exec
Group: read
Others: write, execute
SetUID
Sticky
 
Hello,
I have 2 launchers now, Holo Launcher 1.2.4 and Nemus Launcher 1.6.5.1, but keep Holo frozen bc only use it for occasional testing.
If I make an screenshot of app draw on Holo got correct one, but on Nemus got one of home screen (went to Nemus app draw, long-press power, screenshot, but then went home and got its screenshot):confused:
I know it is a nemus issue but maybe someone have a workaround.

Have the issue again this time did not charge over 70. If i wipe the stats it gives me the 20 to 30 % thats not being charged. Using noob vi and 4000mah battery. Dont think its the battery, cuz when wipe stats i get the percentage. Dont think i should have to wipe battery everytime i reboot. Plus i have 2 other phones. Happened to the evo 4g bt after wiping stats and killing and recharge it was fine. Never had a problem with marquee. So i dont know whats wrong. Any help appreciated.
