Root [CDMA] {CDMA}[ROM / KERNEL] [Team D.I.R.T] [LINARO OPTIMIZED] [JB 4.1.2] UNOFFICIAL AOKP v3.5.2

Well sir, some of us aren't satisfied so easily.

I ran Swagged Out Stock for maybe 2 months, possibly longer (2.4) then I was very dissatisfied with a future release and didn't keep zipped ROM. Borked up and didn't keep my nand either lol. (16gig isn't a lot of space :p)

When you have that itch, I say flash your little heart out, in your case flash that old heart out :D lmao

I loled! :D
Just a tip, move backups to your pc? Then just move one back to your sd card if you want to restore it

If my old @$$ laptop had more than 6gigs of space (yeah old) that's what I'd be doing lol

Well, you could get an external hard drive for a lot cheaper than a new laptop... Or... even a flash drive lol ;) you can snag a 64 gb flash drive for $30. Maybe cheaper! Lol I sound like I'm trying to sell something... I just know how crappy it is to lose data!

Oh wow, I for some reason have an urge to go out and buy a flash drive now! :p

I tried AOKP 2.2 for a few days. For me it ran great for the most part. Even after restoring all my apps (like 150+)...still was smooth. Go launcher is a little slower than I'm used to but barely noticeable. rear Camera zoom was a little gltchy but overall works well. switching to front camera only mirrored the rear. Battery life was good especially with screen off barely lost any power. I only uninstalled after trying video with stock player and mobo... It kept crashing and rebooting... I'll try it again when I get back from vacation. I have vm Evo V, downgraded hboot, soff.

If I'm not mistaken, I think I seen in the op camera/video is broken or buggy until a future release.

Nice to be sitting in the bleachers, LOL

I have flashed so many Roms in my days, that now I wait for numerous updates and for the same reason as Brian, I use my phone a lot and can't live with bad reception, slow internet, and issues with locks ups, so I wait now. I guess I get wiser as I get older, ;) And camera for me is important, I am always taking screen shots and sending MMS pics

And did I say that Zred XL works just fine and is all set up, so why change, if it ain't broke don't fix it. At time I do get bored and get the itch though, lmao. :D
Don, I am also a big ZRED XL guy too as you know. I have just flashed homebrew and have found the best ICS ROM to date. You should try this ROM, you might just find your new favorite ROM.

I had tried is V 1.2 but there were many issues, and got tired of the lag, I am told that V New Batch is much better, I may give it a shot on the weekend and see, I promised Powduh I would. I am still will to give JB another shot too, but waiting on a little more stay release. Camera for me is important.

Nothing until the weekend, have you tested it ??

Actually from where I didn't nand before flashing buttered toast yesterday and had my battery/charging acting stupid.

Clean installed pa (not new release yet), checked hw overlay and force gpu rendering in developer settings. Camera works without flashing buttered toast.

Edit. Oops just noticed you didn't ask about camera lol. I'm updating later today. Rookie question. I can update without doing a fr right?

Interesting, wonder why he does not mention that in his changelog.

About the camera, reading from comments, it was discovered after the previous release. Camera fix wasn't intended yet.

As I remember someone stating about checking hw overlay before lens mentioned it.
