hmmmmm strange. If you click the "Programing" Tab uptop the is a couple more mentions of it also. suck as this quote>

"Note: The HTC Incredible requires OTA Programming be performed. If an OTA has not been performed, by pressing the SEND Key the device takes you to a screen that states "Press Send to activate your device" and has an option for "Emergency Call" by tapping Emergency Call on screen, you can then proceed to step 2 below."

Maybe that is how they are going to push the new "load" NKT referenced when he saw the incredible again early this week. Would help explain how the incredible is at the warehouse and it still getting an update.

Droid: 159013.htm
Incredible: 159207.htm

No adress between 159017.htm and 159207.htm was working and still you kept trying? Wow, you're stubborn :)
And how did you know that the Incredible would come after the Droid?

Anyway, nice discovery.

Actually the Devour is in there somewhere, a couple netbooks, and some feature phones. I forgot them...I should have written them down.

And to think this juicy little tidbit came from 1 little typo on a calender! Our detective skills are getting sharp guys! Keep up the good work!

This vz info site, imo, is the key to getting info. I say we check it often and don't let anyone else know about it! :D

Thread has more than 1,300,000 views + Steven58 with more than 1100 post + Steven58 being thanked for tips on tech websites = there is no way this stays a secret!!:D:D:D:D:D:D

I am the original poster of the pics and they are real. They were taken on my bb storm. I was just trying to help. The blurriness of one picture and clarity of another can be attributed to my crappy phone. Was just trying to help because I have been looking and waiting forever for an actual date. Just wanted to let others in on it. Would be no proof if I said "release date is the 28th. Trust me, I know." I was just trying to help others with something I happened to find. As others have stated, could have been something that manager did for their own knowledge. It was only at one of the two Verizon Corporate stores that we clean. Trust me, I looked everywhere at the other store for the same calendar to hopefully find a matching one. In any case, believe me or not, I really don't care. Wanted to just help. If I find anything else I will let you know. Going back tonight. Will try to take a pic of the whole board it was on if I can--(again, crappy phone)

Dude, I believe you. I think people were bitten by the previous photoshop job. Please, keep posting us any stuff you find. Just don't risk your wife losing her job.

Yes, I totally agree with that.

And just for the record, I NEVER said that I thought that picture of that calendar was fake. NEVER. And I don't think it is fake. All I was saying is that, with technology as advanced as it is, something like that COULD be faked. Easily. However, I don't believe it is. And as far as the words "witch hunt," I don't know if I'd call it that exactly. Everyone is entitled to their opinion if they think it's fake or not and it's not just baseless. Some people saw some possible misspellings on that calendar picture. So, it's OK if they think it is possibly fake. I, however, don't think it is. However, I just think we should all keep a salt shaker near our computers until we get OFFICIAL information from Verizon. Everything else is open for discussion and could "possibly" be faked or photoshopped. Personally, I wouldn't call it a witch hunt though. Again, I don't think that picture was photoshopped.

Agreed and well said. Its safe to say that about 99% of info on here is speculation and that's what we should expect without an official release. Kind of like putting a whole bunch of puzzle pieces together to see what the picture is supposed to be because we lost the box. Anyway, I think its best to say that if someone believes the poster and appreciates their effort/info, throw a "thanks" their way. If it doesn't meet someone's standards of evidence, let it go and forget they posted it.

Isn't there some kind of software that can crawl a web site like that? For example, try every address between 159211.htm and 159500.htm and download everything that is found.

Maybe there could be other unreleased phones there.

Yeah after the HTC stunt I won't be buying any music from iTunes anymore ... I may just use it for management I have like 22.5 GB of music here :D

Songbird is decent but I don't know about the syncing stuff with it. I know you can use iTunes agent and doubletwist with iTunes though.

184 Gigs here :p In the process of tagging all the details as I move it from my playlist to Itunes folder. Have never bought from Itunes as I detest DRM.

I think what we need to realize is that one troll (IncrediblyAnnoying) ruin it for alot of other possibly contributers. I do believe he was the only one that posted TWO pshoped pictures but no one else has done so. So as long as we can move past that, we'll be fine.

He actually posted three... but yeah. I think we need t relax a bit when it comes to unconfirmed information from unconfirmed pics. Just relax.

If I was CEO of Verizon, even if I knew I would make money bringing the iPhone to Verizon I wouldn't do it just because Apple decided to stick with one carrier off the bat for couple of years. Let AT&T keep the iPhone and we'll keep all the better Android phones with no bloatware oh yeah, and no drop calls. Android market share is catching up very quickly to the out of date iPhone OS, soon it will surpass it.

+1

Actually, not proving either way, but running a quick search on Google I see several references to the Verizon intranet applicant named InfoManger. Maybe someone from Verizon can verify for certain.

Its definitely InfoManager. I for one believe him. That wrong spelling was probably auto populated to all days in the calendar

Frankly, IMO, there is too little information to prove or disprove this as a fake. If someone wanted to fake a calendar like this it would take about 10 minutes in Xcel or some other app. If it is real we don't know who or how the calendar was created. Some of the MS apps I have used formatting doesn't always work right so it could just be a user error.

Not claiming it is real either, btw

Perhaps the OP could post a picture of the entire calendar, something with verizon branding on it...

Here is the original post.

If this is the case (OTA update) I feel like this is GREAT news. This means that HTC would be free to ship the Device to the warehouse, and then either the store takes care of the OTA update prior to sales, or the buyer completes the update upon device activation.

Either way the Software can be tested by versions testers, be givin the green light and be loaded all without holding up the shipping (warehouse and shipment to stores) process :)

So I was looking at Evergreen's spec sheet and it now says that the processor WON'T be underclocked? When did we find this out? I've been trying to keep up to date here the best I could I can't believe I missed it. Any confirmations on that?

TIFWIW I just read this post on a different forum:

I've been lurking in and out of this thread, but haven't been here recently. So I don't know if this info has already been posted.

But a Verizon Rep. just came in today (I work at a restaurant) and I struck up a conversation with him and asked if he knew when the Nexus One was coming out. He told me that they had this meeting about something (Nexus One I assume) being released at the end of April. Then he told me that something HUGE is supposed to come out at the end of May. I assume the "something huge" is the HTC Incredible.

So yeah, there's my two cents.

I really do not mind waiting until May to see the Incredible. I still have the terrible Chocolate and have been waiting for something incredible (no pun intended) to come out. So I'll be waiting it out for both phones.

This is hopefully wrong........
