Maybe that's when the LG motion will have an unlocked bootloader. when everyone is purchasing the device.

Everyone here developed o.c.d. once the s3 came out, so everyone's too busy polishing their screens to help us . I'm dyslexic and will never be able to put out half the work these guys have. Does that mean the motion is doomed to stay stock?

If shabby gets the motion you might have a higher chance that it won't stay stock. Hopefully.

lol well mrs agreed, so im beginning operation "tether to vzw" to get out etf. i added the motion onto all my xmas lists 
that being said its gunan take a few months for me to get metro service, im hoping i can snag the motion for xmas and thus begin work.

I found a 2init bionic bootstrap clockworkmod recovery created by koush...but I don't know if works....Im scared to press that button.....

@shabby: no worries, I've got back ups out the poorer . I can risk losing one for the sake of progress.
@otherdudewhosnameiforgot....sorry><: do not use that bootstrap, what worked on the bionic has a high chance of turning your phone into a moderately expensive paperweight
