Root [ROM] KANAIDA - Shang Tsung 1 (ICS 4.0.4)

Hey i noticed something while i was going to update ROM Manager. One of the first things on the "Whats New" List was "5.0.2.6: Fix Status 7 error."... and arent we having problems with that same error for this ICS? Could we possibly install this ROM through ROM Manager and get through the Status 7 error? idk... just a thought

He has gotten past the status 7 error in our testing. We just haven't got it to boot past the 1st lg logo. Unless he and some other testers have been working on it in irc, but if u r able and want to try it using ROM manager, go for it (assuming u know what u r doing and at ur own risk of course) make sure u have some kind of backup (preferably a nand backup) 1st be u try it tho just incase, so u can flash back to what u currently have now. But if u don't wanna risk it then all u can do is b patient a little longer. I'm sure he will let us know what's up when he has something relevant, he has so far with his whole process

According to what I am seeing, the LG Viper takes a BL-44JS like what I already have which is 1650~1700mAh... You must of bought a one of those Chinese slim extended batteries. Unfortunately I wouldn't trust it being 1900mAh, as according to this thread they have been outed as flat out lying about their capacities. Even the best one of the bunch, a Feipusi battery was only a mere 1300mAh of it's advertised 1900mAh.
 
We are all PATIENTLY waiting, believe me, patience is a virtue, and its pretty crazy I've checked this thread every 30 mins for updates lmao
 
If you want to provide even more encouragement to KANAIDA, buy his "mk9 dashboard" and "LG Connect Optimizer" from the play store!
 
Coming from a motion I can say ics is great but... this phone is great without it. I'm using ld Rom with ice theme and paid holo launcher and I don't even miss ics. Would be nice to have tho.

This phone is great, but it needs ICS for better battery consumption and take advantage of the obvious hardware put in place for it.
 
Adobe flash with maxthon browser works amazing on this phone. I stream sports lots.i can't imagine it working so well with ICS. But if it does that will be even better of course.

My battery consumption is usually around 7 to 15 percent an hour depending on use, which imo isn't that bad
 
Patience guys. We all have lives too, and this isn't paycheck work. Give him time. After all, you're not exactly waiting for someone to beat him to it at this point, right? lol
