Coolest Feature,Tip,Trick or App you have found For the Note 2

1) Long pressing the menu button brings up the Google Now search app!

2) Long pressing the home button brings up the multi-tasking menu.

In messaging, while you're reading a text message from someone, you can just put the phone up to your ear to call them.

Amazed no one made a comment about this. The Note 2 has a barometer. Not sure why either as it was also on the original Note and a few others.

Find it kind of fun seeing it though. Not sure what practical use it has for an average Joe though.

I'm using Barometer Pro (a paid app) which I bought when I had the Note. I installed it on my Note 2 just for the heck of it. There are other apps in the Play store now. Just search for barometer.

In England we don't really need a barometer as the weather is always terrible

Make sure you pick up a snowboard, umbrella and flip flops at the airport on the way in. You'll need them all on the first day. :p
Yeah, always heard about bad weather there. But that's ridiculous. Though in Canada we do have some days where we experience all 4 seasons...

We have a fifth season which hasn't been given a name yet. I always remember Mark Twains saying "The bad weather in England starts on the first of October and goes on till the end of September".

CDMA seems to be a pretty locked down type of network. If you're looking to do this sort of thing it's best to be on a GSM carrier, such as T-Mobile or AT&T.

I know that but I had a brain fart was thinking in lines of flashing for boost or Metro.

Galaxy Note 2 Diagnostics Tool:

Dial *#0*# in the keypad and you'll get a diagnostics menu. This worked on the original Note as well. Press back button (sometimes requires a double tap) to exit out. I used the Wacom test to see how bad the calibration is using the MS Surface Pro Pen. Barely got halfway through the line drawing when it posted FAILED in bright red letters when holding it at an angle. Passed if I held it perpendicular to the screen.
