Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [Toolkit] SkipSoft's S3 Toolkit. ALL in one. (V7.3) UPDATED

is it really that hard to flash a recovery, flash supersu, and then flash a rom???

I will say this again, if one is too lazy to learn how to do something other than point and click, they need to stay stock. ;)

not me ive been trying everything that shabz throws at me hoping everytime that i dont brick or something lol and yes just incase any1 is wondering i did add the $5 insurance again lol not taking any risk with a $545 phone thats just insane..

nothing i give is going to brick. its all reversable by odin :)

well except rooting thats not reversable atm

i can just delete the apk or even uninstall it lol no big deal buddy ;) aint gonna lie them first 10 boot loops had me feeling like i saw a ghost for a sec or 2 but every time i manage to get back to recovery so im more eased about it. the last time this morning it showed the sammy splash for a split sec then thats it nothing almost as if it turned off. but i still managed to get to recovery.

Did you forget the type of majority that roams these forums? ;) lol

They want everything done for them and want to sit back and reap the rewards. 1 out of every 20 people here actually gives a damn about what they are actually doing to their phone from which they want to actually learn.
 
Thats right fuzz but no way to seperate the leechers from the actual users in here that try to involve themselves in a community where u learn and give back. 90% just take and leave and then come back when they need more help lol
 
As a useless user, im always willing to donate. The support I got from my mishap was unreal. I told fuzzy it almost restored my faith in humanity...almost.

I fixed my self guys .. wat i did was , i just wet back and insalled the nightly ROM again den go into mobile network setings select network mode = LTE/CDMA/Evdo ,
System select = home only
CDMA subscription =nv ...now Disable data press back botton ad turn on airplane mode after reboot phone , when back on just disable airplane mode and turn data on . you shud be good now.
 
Updated OP. Toolkit now has support for the Metro PCS S3. You guys are now a part of the lucky few that get to enjoy this amazing piece of work. I thought Android Commander was the greatest Android tool ever made..........Negative.

So this can be used to root instead of the automatic root from the other thread, cool.

I'm goioing to copy and paste a question I asked on another thread

There isn't much you can't do within the Toolkit. All except build APK's. I haven't used the S3 Toolkit, only the Nexus one, so I haven't heard any feedback about it. I do know that the creator only puts out an excellent product that is fully functional with little to no bugs so everything should be working as described. Drivers and the Toolkit is all that's needed to be installed.

You don't need an internet connection to root per say but obviously you will have to download the files so a connection would be needed for that. Hope this helps. ;)

Thanks, I've downloaded everything I need in advance just in case lol. I have the rom I want, the kernel, TWRP, now this toolkit even though I never used it.

I thought a connection was needed so the program could install the drivers androot the phone :o

I don't think so. Best way to find out is fire it up and run it :D I know you need one to update the toolkit but when you install the toolkit, everything needed for all options gets installed with it so I would assume the driver download gets installed with the toolkit you would just need to run it for you PC and let it install.

Good luck with your installs. Sounds like you are a prepared man so everything should work fine for you. Just holler if you need help, this is a great community with answers everywhere :D
 
Also, if you guys want to unlock the paid features you can donate ANY amount to Skip Soft via one of the options in the main menu. So yes, you could donate a dollar and get the paid features unlocked but if you are going to donate a dollar at least make it $5. ;)

Plus once you donate you will get the auto update feature which is really nice. The toolkit literally takes all the hunting around the web for everything, even the damn update. You can do it all right from the toolkit. I hope you guys enjoy this and show your appreciation to the creator cause this is really an amazing tool that makes life 100X easier for someone that messes with their phone a lot. ;)

I started up the toolkit with no internet access and it closed because I needed one to download boot and recovery images. I downloaded them then disconnected my wifi and everything thing seemed to be ok, I honestly should just wait and see if I even get the phone first lol, I obviously can't continue without it :(

Hahaha. Yeah you might wanna get the phone first. I know the recovery images SHOULD be already installed with the Toolkit. You can open up the instal folder on C: or wherever and see a folder for the recovery images. TWRP sends out updates before the Toolkit updates so I download the TWRP update and then just add it into the toolkit folder and then flash as normal As for other stuff I don't know.
