Root [MetroPCS/CDMA] [Toolkit] SkipSoft's S3 Toolkit. ALL in one. (V7.3) UPDATED

I went to metropcs thay could not get into the hidden menu... i think it becuse the damn phone thinks it on us. So anyone know how to get inot the hidden menu for us.. or how do do the apn another way

Why cant you do it in the settings menu? Thats where you do it at on every phone ???
 
The code metropcs use to get into the hidden samsung hidden menu dont work anyone more.. thay were going to manauly edit the phone. intill thay can order me a replacement.. So if you can find out how to get into the us c.. hidden menu.. i might be able to fix it

You didn't answer my question. The APN is usually set through the settings app on the phone. They make this easily accessible. Should be under data settings or service or something like that

Settings-More settings(Wireless and networks section)-Mobile networks-Access point names


I don't have the phone in hand but thanks to google i was able to figure that out. Yeeehaw. lol


Did you do this update through the toolkit?
 
all i have under mobile network is .... use packet data
data roami
network mode
system select...
this up really f.. up my phone
 
i can't deal with this phone that is the only thing missing on my phone... i have everything on my phone in that vid but the acc. point. names

Okay. Well Tiede is getting a stock ROM ready so you can just flash that here shortly and get back to stock metro.

So keep up with him. Theres someone else waiting on him as well so youll know when its done.

nice well is there a unroot yet for this phone... i have not done the root yet just incase i have to send my phone off..
 
i got my data working but its only 1x.. i had to change the network to cdma only... ok now how can i get text to work can i use go sms and enter the info to work and if so what info do i add? this is only a temp fix untill metro can send me a new phone some time in the next few weeks
 
yea i got my text working now i can wait.. thank you for everyone that help.... i just can't stand paying for un 4g. and only geting 1x....... but now i can use the phone just have to spend more time in wifi hotspots lol
