But before I go? Perhaps this was said in stuff I skimmed over, but I had noticed something.. On the VZW site, many special offers ends this Sunday. So, something is definitely up for Monday, fwiw. Gnite!

It will be interesting to see if any stuff pops up on the testman late sunday night. Also, to see what kind of info might leak out sunday. lets be honest, if monday is that big of a deal, theres gotta be a decent amount of preparation involved, and id like to think that some of AFs connections are good enough to tap into this kind of movement :)
 
I'm sorry I'm even posting and asking this, but did anything worthwhile happen today? I know most of the big stuff happened two days ago, and I'm not really worried about when this phone will be released, but I just wanted to know if there's anything I should be looking out for from yesterday.

I've decided to come out of lurking mode. Even though its only been like 3 days lol

I agree that the "journey begins monday" isnt one single announcement, but all next week. Weve been hearing over and over that verizon is coming out with some great new device(S)
We were all peeved about Verizon not announcing at CTIA. I for one was pissed at Verizon. But now I see they have a had a rather genius plan IMHO. They knew Sprint was going to hog all the spotlight at CTIA. So Verizon wanted to wait till now to make thier own big splash. And I'm no longer mad at them for taking so long. They wanna make it INCREDIBLE before they release it to us. Gotta love it!
I was one of the people that were seriously considering the EVO and Sprint. But with everyones help with comparison I'm stickin with Verizon and the Incredible!
To everyone wanting pix.... I believe NKT's pix is what the final product is going to look like. So no need to look further. And when we do get new pix I KNOW that they will be leaked here first! :)

I think its funny how other sites take the things that leak here and make it seem were saying something else. Cracks me up

Whew.... FINALLY caught up on my reading here. This Incredible is going to have cost me at least twice the retail price in lost work productivity before I actually get one.

Thanks to all who have and continue to make this a very interesting/entertaining/informative place to spend time I should be spending elsewhere.

This weekend will see some time away from the computer more than usual and I will be making my semi-weekly trek into the local VZW corporate store to get their latest stories. I'll share if anything interesting happens.

My sick and twisted thought for the evening is a challenge. Who can come up with the best Google Sketch Up rendering of the Incredible?

here I am on the late shift again.

What an exciting news week it has been. I, like most people have poured over the users guide along with everything else on this forum.

I just really hope we hear an announcement this week.

Short Story nothing of real significance:
Went to the movies with the wifey tonight (movie theater in the mall). We went by a Verizon kiosk and I showed here the Eris so she could see what sense ui is like. The guy came over and showed us the droid and tried to make a sale of course. I told him thank you but no, my wife and I are waiting for a new phone that comes out in two weeks. He responds "OH! the nexus 1! I can't wait for Google to start selling that at the end of the month. Just remember you will have to buy it from them, not in our stores or kiosk." I tell him we are actually waiting for the HTC Incredible and he goes "oh... that phone... yea.. Well you folks have a good night and enjoy your movie"

Its like if they utter the phones name or existence it will bring the black plague down on them and their family.

Anyways, lets hope Monday is as exciting for us as it will be for Microsoft.
 
I think that the big day's going to be Tuesday, where as Monday will likely be Microsoft's day but if they release another device on Tuesday than likely we'll get our day next week . . . The logic is sound anyway.

Meaning that they'll likely release our phone one day next week. Prolly last of the "devices".
