I'm willing to bet it has a locked bootloader too, and thus dont want anything to do with it. lol

Unfortunately you are right... bootloader is locked. The good news is isaacj87 is working on root and is very close. I think he might have worked with you on cm7 for the Ascend.

as going back to my post... I have tried to install CM10 and I get errors within the install process, doesn't even let me even get to installing google apps. I am using #2 v2.4 / BlitzKrieg's kernel 2.6.35.7. Anyone else getting install errors ????
Or know if I should change the kernel / and or the #2 to 2.5 first?

Do you have the Spirit? if you did you'd know they aren't anything alike. It's like saying a Mustang and a ford Econoline are the same thing because they both have a 4.0 engine. By the way the Spirit is clocked at 1.5. not 1.2 not matter what Metro says. And the Spirit kills the motion in benchmarks. truth hurts i know.

LMAO, I actually do have the Spirit and I get every phone that metro has brought out except the Lightray. i know it's 1.5 not 1.2 but so is the motion, but i'm not going to sit here and go back to back i know the truth hurts but ok.
Question, whats the differents besides storage and screen size and battery? Esteem and Revo is the same phone but different setup and different storage.

I think you guys should forget about it... their both great phones.
They both have the msm8960 & adreno 225 which is also in the SGS3. That's pretty awesome if you ask me.

That's what I'm basiclly saying, but what most people don't realize they don't need a benchmark to tell if there phone is good or not. And also the reason the Spirit scores higher than the Galaxy S3 in Quadrant, is due to the S3 having a resolution of 1280x720 (720p). The Spirit only has qHD 960x540, which results in half the pixels needing to be processed during the benchmark It's widely known.

umm all Three things you just mentioned make it different, Also looks different. The Esteem and the Revolution are the same phones, you can interchange the battery back/battery and cases. You can't do that with the Spirit and the Motion now can you?

That Wildfire S had a locked bootloader; the only way to get in was to wait until HTC allowed you to unlock the bootloader and go in there and flash a very crappy version of CWM -- none of the cooler versions worked; you had to use an old one that worked about 70% of the time. No real ROMs for it, yet.
